We stayed here at the end of the rainy season mid April which may account for our room smelling distinctly of mold. It was at the end of a passageway that opened into a courtyard and backed onto another building which didn't look to be in the best repair. It was also freezing when we arrived (the doors wide open,...

This is a great hotel to stay; just 5-10 minutes away from the main square and very quiet at night. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Our main luggage was left at the hotel during our trip to Macchu Picchu and didn't leave our room. Coca and other teas always available and a good breakfast each day. The lovely...

The hotel is in one of the corners of an old Incan building. I believe one of the emperors born/lived there. There is a very quaint courtyard surrounded by rooms. Our room was very cozy with a small sitting area. The service at the hotel was excellent. They were always willing to give suggestions or help in any way. Breakfast...

We stayed at this hotel during our Machu Picchu trip. Excellent location, wonderful staff who are very cordial and helpful. Our room was #101, family suite .. loved the room and the suite (bathroom was small though :) ). Just a 5 min walk away from the central plaza, at a very safe neighborhood. The front door is always locked...

Had two nights here. Left our luggage for 3 nights then 2 more. Sylvia was really helpful and friendly. Lovely courtyard. We sat and played cards one afternoon. A few beers and water were available in the breakfast area if you wanted to help yourself and pay later. Use of a laptop in the lobby. This is a tiny hotel...

Unaytambo is brilliantly located next to the Temple of the Sun. The hotel is down a small alley, perfectly safe, and they keep the front doors locked. The hotel is small and the rooms are ok in size. They are cold but they offer lots of blankets. The bathroom is very small and I found it difficult to get dried...

Rooms were spacious and had cool decor. I enjoyed the antique looking wooden beams in the ceilings and the cozy paintings. Room was a bit cold but the hotel provided many warm blankets and a space heater. Breakfast was nice and they offered to cook us eggs each day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very much enjoyed staying at Unaytambo! Centrally located (5-10 min. walk to most of the places one wants to visit in Cuzco), and the hotel has great charm & character. Rooms are a comfortable blend of historic and modern. Pleasant courtyard area in which to relax. Great service; we needed a third bed in a 2-bed room, and they had...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Unaytambo for a total of 3 nights in December 2013. The hotel was super cute and had lots of character. The bathroom was modern and very clean (cleaned everyday and towels were replaced everyday). The service was amazing: - They kept our luggage safe at the hotel while we spent a night away in...

Why would you stay anyplace else? Unaytambo represents the best about Cuzco, and Peru. It's situated inside a historic Incan home, so each room is unique and historical. Even the showers, which overflow, are a nice historic touch. Great free breakfast with eggs. Location can't be beat, 5 min walk south of the main square so you're not in the...
