Cold humid rooms, i had to use my sleeping bag inside the heavy and old blankets no hot water, just lukewarm and not always and in combination with the cold room its even worse and i visited the pace during the summer time i don't want to imagine the winter there filthy floor covering, i didn'teven dare to walk with...

The location is great, in quiet little streets with nice coffee shops, but really close from the plaza de armas. The kitchen was clean, and the rooms are nice, as well as the shared spaces in the interior yard.

We spent 3 nights in El Hospedaje Artesano de San Blas : two nights before leaving to the salkantay trek and a night after. The rooms are simple and convenient, you can have private bathroom or share it. You can enjoy a really nice patio in this place: perfect to relax, write a postcard or meet people staying there! The...

Good price, nice indoor courtyard, kitchen amenities. Hot shower (electric), clean overall but not all rooms have a view on the city (I had 2 different rooms and none had the view some bookguides mention) Laundry service too. Not more stars because of the noise during the night by some in the hospedaje, and it was as if they were...

I loved my stay in this hostal. Yes it is a climb from Plaza de Armas, but it is a nice place. In the square you can eat and drink with other travelers from which you buy and make in the basic kitchen. The owner is a nice guy that speaks good basic English. He offerd me a good deal...

Only French people (it's recommended in their most popular guidebook). Ice cold shower, can't lock the only shared bathroom. Internet only in the common area which is outside. But the garden is nice and most of the staff is nice as well. They don't really speak English so it's a good place to practice your Spanish.

We stayed on and off for about six nights. It is cold in the rooms and our shower only intermittently worked, sometimes we had to use a shower in a different room. The place was often full with tour groups which made accessing the kitchen a little challenging at times. For the price of 50 soles a night for a...

As others mentioned before: it's cold! We ve been there in the summer and changed the hostel, since we were freezing every night. It is really due to the building and the high ceilings. Also be aware that they do not clean the rooms during your stay. The kitchen is big, but completely dirty. Haven t had a such disgusting...

This hospedaje is located about 5 minutes uphill (a bit of a tough walk if you haven't had time to acclimatize to the altitude yet) from Plaza San Blas and is therefore close to a range of restaurants and touristy shops. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place is really nice and quiet. All rooms were private and...

It's well worth the walk up the hill to this reasonably priced and lovely hospedaje. We stayed in several hostels in Cusco and would 100% choose Artesano San Blas again if we returned! We stayed in a private room with bathroom for a couple for 40soles a night.
