I wanted to like this hotel I really did. It's in a good location, only a 10 minute walk from the main square. It's clean. The rooms are big, the breakfast is good but then the problems started. Our bathroom was the size of a closet and didn't have hot water. It's already cold outside at night, I don't need...

Our stay here was booked through a tour company. We were very pleased with this hotel! The room was comfortable and clean, and the lobby and dining area was quite lovely as well. They had a really good breakfast, and coca leaves for tea available when you arrive, which helps with elevation sickness. Wi-fi worked very well. The hotel is...

Don't want to stay amongst the noise of the main squares? Still want to be just a few blocks away and be well taken care of in a clean safe comfortable hotel with great hot showers with good water pressure with trendy layout of rooms and hot coco tea 24/7? That's what I found most enjoyable about this place. Plus...

The hotel has a unique Cusco feel and decor, delicious and nutritious breakfasts and friendly, helpful and courteous staff. However, I asked the manager to book a private tour of historic sites in Cusco and totally got ripped off. Our tour was $100 and included a driver and "guide". The guide knew nothing of the city, including the historic buildings...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a tour and had a nice experience. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was fresh and simple. The rooms were clean, nothing extravagant but nice and roomy. The hot water just takes a few minutes to warm up but no big deal. About a 10-15...

I have been travelling around South America as part of a tour and must say all the hotels have been amazing so far. Some better than others but always comfortable and hospitable. This hotel has been a bitter disappointment. cold shower and cold rooms. Informed that heating can only go on after 6pm. Hot water and coffee are provided in...

We were there for 4 days and we realized that is was close enough to the center of town to walk there and back but far enough that there was no city noises at night. The service was very good, every request was met rapidly. When there was no more tea, they brought some immediately, when our friends couldn't figure...

I really liked the Mamasara, but gotta warn folks that it can be VERY noisy. The noise is due to the very busy Calle Saphi on which the hotel is located (so asking for a room in the back may help--we stayed at another hotel on Calle Saphi and had the same road noise problem) AND the unforntunately central location...
