I was disappointment with my stay at this hostel. It is located about a 10 minute walk from the center of town but you have to walk up a lot of stair to get to the property. The positive points for the hostel are that they will store you bags while you trek to Machu Picchu and they did let...

My boyfriend, Rodrigo, and I absolutely loved every moment of our stay in Samay Wasi. We reserved a private room. The room was clean and included all of the amenities we desired. The service was excellent. Cecilia, the hostel’s manager, is professional, kind, and hardworking – a true reflection of her dedicated staff (Emerson, Andy, Paulina, Patty and Betty –...

We stayed in a private room with an ensuite. This is a hostel - not a luxury hotel. There are plenty of those in Cusco if you're not trying to keep costs down. I am not someone who frequents hostels and would honestly prefer to avoid them. So having said that, I thought the Samay Wasi hostel was a pleasant...

Great hostel. Not too small, not too big. Nice, cozy and clean rooms. Amazing staff. We got picked up from the airport even though we forgot to sent the email saying when we were arriving:) We also got booked the Salkantay trek through a guy named James in the hostel. Although the price of the trek could have been lower...

We really loved our time at Samay Wasi, we stayed for 4 nights, went on the Inca Trail for 3 nights then back to Samay Wasi for a final night before flying to Bolivia. The staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us, whether it be advice about things to do or arranging transport, taking care of our belongings...

A very nice hostel with an amazing view from the balcony with a very helpful and kind staff. It is near to San Blas square and tons of shops and restaurants. All of it will make you feel yourself at home. A great option.

This was a nice and cheap hostel. Has a nice view on the balcony. Very helpful staff. I only have good comments about this place, they´re made me feel at home. I stayed 4 days at this place, and I can say that is a very good option

Great little hostel. About a 10 min uphill walk from the main plaza ( good trekking training!) and the pay off is great views over the city. San blas area has loads of shops/restaurants too. Breakfast was good. Top floor rooms have the views but we were in room 5 (private room) on ground floor which was great for views...

This was a nice, clean hostel with all the amenities needed (wifi, hot shower, breakfast included). There are cheaper hostels with the same amenities but the view over Cusco set this one apart. I would recommend it for travellers who want somewhere quiet and aren't on a super tight budget.

Please realize that it is a very big up hill climb the last 20 min. walk up then climb more stairs up to the lobby! The taxi driver could not go any further but parked and carried our luggage up that hill and then up the stairs, they were 2 carry on type luggage. We only stayed one night, we...
