Amaizing old building converted into luxury hotel. Perfect stay, comfortable beds, clean big rooms, very good restaurant, tasty and huge breakfast. Excellent service. Just in the center of UNESCO heritage city of Arequipa. What else can you dream of?

Property is an old private house featuring giant stone walls, courtyards. Just an amazing reconversion. Rooms are very large and offer all amenities. Breakfast with live harp music in the courtyard is to be commanded. And location cannot be beat! Definitely a must!

This hotel is built in a thick old stone wall building and the lobby appears to be its old courtyard. It has huge old wooden doors and is beautifully furnished. It is located very close to the main Plaza and other touristy sites. For supper, you must go to Chicha, one of the restaurants owned by Gaston Acurio, the famous...

Dear guest, Thank you for sharing your review with us and many other travelers. As you mentioned, our hotel is characterized by having a colonial part made of a volcanic stone, which we call Sillar. It has interesting colonial structure and a strategic location, just 05 minutes walking-distance from main square. As well as Chicha, "Alma" Restaurant is a very...

Very beautiful colonial hotel. You can walk out the door and be in the main square in a few minutes. Close to great shopping, historical sites and excellent restaurants. I recommend Zig Zag for dinner. The hotel had a very complete breakfast buffet, including eggs made to order.

As soon as you step in you are enclosed in thick walled and very old building. The hotel is built from local stone called ashlar (from the ash of the local volcano called Misti). Staff are attentive - especially concierge. Breakfast is a buffet. It's is an average buffet: if you want alpaca with a side dish of vegetables with...

Our stay in Arequipa was an excellent introduction to our 2-week stay in Peru. The hotel has a modern section that connects seamlessly to the beautifully-appointed reception, bar and restaurant areas. We ate in the restaurant (which was excellent) and enjoyed several drinks at the bar. The breakfast area is an open courtyard, with a good range of local and...

Stayed here for two nights, which was plenty of time to explore the main sights. Conveniently located so we could easily pop back after shopping or sightseeing and then walk back into town for lunch or dinner. Lovely buffet breakfast served in an old courtyard. Hotel had done a great job of keeping all the old colonial charm, with appropriate...

After traveling across the Amazon and Andes it was great to arrive at a lovely hotel in Arequipa. The hotel has been built in a very old church they say it has ghosts but I did not come across any. A pleasant change from all the run of the mill 5 star hotels. Great service and food and a fantastic...

It is when things go wrong that you can rate a hotel, so when my husband felt poorly the hotel called a very helpful doctor for no charge - thank you. We stayed in the old part of the hotel and loved the atmosphere. The walls are adorned with wonderful old prints. We were able to eat a good breakfast...
