We ended up staying much longer than anticipated. Very helpful staff, good value for money, comfortable accommodation, fantastic location. Fairly quiet hostel, it is the perfect base for your trip. There was mould in the bathroom, and the breakfast was very basic, but still good value!

Nice, comfortable place 5 minutes away from the Plaza de Armas. Spacious, albeit a bit dark, rooms, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. Kitchen is well equiped, but a bit small for the amount of guests that can stay at the same time. Free luggage storage (with magnet ids).

Staff and fellow guests alike generally seem happy at Mango Hostel. The location is excellent, within 100m of the central Plaza del Armas in Arequipa. Lots of interesting places are easily within ealing distance, including the impressive Santa Catalina Cathedral, the Monasterio d Santa Catalina, the central markets, and so much more. The standard included breakfast of cereal and/or baguettes...

Excellent location in the center, just a one minute walk away from the Plaza de Armas. I had a four bed dorm with private bathroom, which was pretty nice and clean, although quite small (especially with all the huge backpacks on the floor). The breakfast was one of the most diverse I had in Peru, with bread, ham, cheese, yogurt,...

Really good location in the center, nice backpacker style hostel. Clean, nice kitchen, good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The only bad thing is the bell of the main door that goes on and on and on all day, all night ....

We stayed here for a night and was perfect for us. We got put in a double room for only 5 sol more than a dorm each which was cool. The staff were friendly and helpful and they had a very secure luggage storage room locked and with tags to prove it was your bag. Bfadt was good with ham,...

I had originally booked a different hostel, and I met some friends who stayed here and decided to book the remainder of my stay in Arequipa here. Excellent location, good breakfast, clean rooms. It is the perfect balance of not-so-party hostel, yet social enough where you can meet travel buddies. Definitely would recommend this to others, and would stay here...

Good location in Arequipa and for good value! The staff is very helpful and there is never any problems using the facility as kitchen and the relaxing areas. The rooms will be clean every day if you haven't been massing it to much whit all your stuff!

We booked a private room with bathroom and we stayed three nights (split before and after our tour). The first night we stayed at the front of the hostel. A lot of tours to Colca Canyon start early in the morning/night so we woke up often when a new party left the hostel. The second stay was a lot better...

The hostel is located very conveniently in Arequipa. The staff was very helpful with all questions that we had and they also provide storage for free. We had a private double room which was a bit stuffy as the only window it had was facing a common area so couldn't really open it. I think it's still good value for...
