Stayed at the Santa Rosa for a week at end of July '16. Rooms bright airy and pleasant ( ask for sea view as rooms at the back have a rubbish view ) rooftop pool was pleasant and never over crowded. (They have a 'no lilo' policy so beware. Food was fine.. There was always something to choose from.. soup....

This hotel was very nice and in a great location, about a 10 minute walk from the main square. The rooms were decent size, came with a snack-bar and were well taken care of. The only negative thing was our room faced the street and there was a lot of outside noise that came in. From a car that had...

This hotel is located a half block from the Santa Catalina Monastery and a block and a half from the main square, basically a perfect location. Most rooms are located around a courtyard and are away from the street so that there is no noise coming from the street. The only thing that I found is that noise travels through...

This stay will be amongst my most pleasant memories of Peru. I sat in the courtyard and wrote in my journal a bit, recalling my travels enjoying the lovely plants and the fountain and wooden sculptures. I decided that every home should have a central courtyard like this. The hotel has an Old World feel with comfortable leather furniture in...

I wish I could have stayed longer! This hotel is located in the heart of Arequipa, close to restaurants, the convent, and the town center. But inside it feels like a private sanctuary. The rooms are large and clean. There is a rooftop balcony with the most amazing views of Arequipa. The breakfast was great- lots of options. The courtyard...

Located a short walk from the old town square, yet far enough away to be quiet, this property has a lot going for it. The old building fits well with the stretscape and motel type units at the back add to the accommodation capacity. Our first night was in one of the 1960s style units, very adequate and quiet. When...

We had a HUGE room, more like an apartment. Although the bedroom only had a small bed - a double bed, huge bathroom and sitting area, TV in both the bedroom and sitting area and a small bar fridge. Beautiful courtyard - and amazing views of the Andes. Very quiet room, great sleep, unfortunately we suffered from altitude sickness so...

I stayed at this hotel for one night during a group trip. It certainly didn't disappoint. The courtyard is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and modern with a television. Here are a few of my pointers: #1 It was such a beautiful night when I stayed that my roommate and I agreed to keep the door open as the...

I stayed at this hotel for one night with a tour group. I was pleasantlly surprised with the hotel and Arequipa itself. The room was plain but this seems to be typical of pervian hotels. The breakfast selection was decent.

Lovely little hotel just 2 blocks from the main square and just down the road from the Santa Catalina monastery. Easy walking distance from some good shops and restaurants. The front gate is kept locked at night which is great for security, but can be noisy if your room is close by. Ask for a quiet room if you are...
