We spent 4 nights at Le Foyer, and didn't really have anything to complain about. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Lots of reviews here complain about the noise, but we slept fine, even on Saturday night. Yes, the hostel is above a bar, so if you are really sensitive to noise it may be a problem, but...

We arrived late at night from the bus station, and they couldn't find our reservation. They put us in a twin room (suppose to be a double) off the breakfast area. The beds were quite comfortable, but the washroom small and didn't have a door handle on the inside so it was difficult to open. They did offer a list...

I stayed with a bunch of students. Great location. Awesome service. Very helpful. Rooms were clean and there were hot showers. The fact the nightclub was under my room meant I didn't sleep much. If you can't beat them, join them. Great times.

Good hostel which is cheap :) little noisy...but very friendly staff. it's just a 5 minute walk to Basilica/Plaza de Armas --> nice location :) I just stayed for 1 night with 3 other Germans. Couldn't try the breakfast from 7am (went hiking at 3am) and 24h reception!

The place is very charming with a great environment and also very clean and organized (great showers, too). Pretty close to the hotspots and nice restaurants - you can walk around for pretty much everything (restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy, money exchange, etc). The staff is very friendly and helpful! I certainly recommend it!!

Found this Hostal via Airbnb. It is very central, 5 min to the main square, and at the crossing with approximatly 10 bars. Therefore i recommend to take a room without balcony, its incredibly noisy in the street. we changed roomes after the first night, thereafter it was good. nice personnel, we felt really save, left all our stuff in...

A very good Hostel with great varation of rooms to suit most people. Dorm, singel doubbel. I stayed in three bed dorm nr.6. facing the street. The best thing about The hostel is that you have walking distance to the city's nightlife and attractions. The roof top view is absolutely amazing. I took many good sunrise, sunset full moon pictures...

Stayed only for one night but can say that this hostel is probably a solid pick if you're on a budget. The staff were nice, breakfast was good, wifi reliable. I didn't have the noise issue that some others brought up. The rooms itself is a bit shabby, but this is a hostel. What do you expect? Arequipa was my...
