My boyfriend and I stayed here over a couple of nights in Arequipa. The hostel was clean, warm showers, excellent/cheap laundry services and excellent location. As with all the other reviews, it is VERY loud. Across the road is a bar that plays LOUD music into late hours of the morning (~4am), every night of the week. The sound was...

Great hostel in a great location. Just a couple of mins walk to decent restaurants and bars and 5 mins walk to the main square. The rooms are clean and tidy and we even got an upgrade to a room with a balcony for no extra cost. Although this did bring with it the noise of the main road just...

The room was fine, clean and basic. The shared bathroom was also clean and basic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast on the roof terrace was nice. It was unfortunate that when we were there there were workmen installing a new staircase very close to our room. They started at 6.00 in the morning and carried on till...

The hostel staff were nice enough. The rooms clean and tidy. Towels are provided free of charge. Breakfast is a small egg omelette, two rolls, marmalade, juice and tea or coffee. There is also a laundry service for 5 soles a kilo. The location is ideal although it is extremely noisy at night as it is situated right in the...

Stayed here for about 2 nights before getting settled down in Arequipa. Was recommended this place by several people. While it is nice - nice location, friendly staff, friendly hotel dog - the place was just a little too loud for me. Not in the way of partying, but that it was right along the street and all the noise...

Breakfast was great! The staff were so smiley, friendly and eager to help. The room and the bathroom were kept clean. From the swing seat on the roof you can look out over Arequipa and clearly see El Misti! We had some trouble with our bus at 3am and the guy on night duty made phone calls for us and...

First of all... You cannot beat the location of this hostel for the price. $33 per night (for a private room and private bathroom), 3 blocks from the main square, across the street from the Santa Catalina Monastery, and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. In addition, free breakfast and a reasonably priced laundry service ( 5 soles per kilo)....

The first night we had a room facing the street and it was noisy outside. However, it was also noisy in the hotel courtyard due to some young guests who were partying hardy that night. The bathroom was extremely small. The next visit our room was on the backside of the hotel and it was much quieter. Plus there was...

A great hostel to stay in Arequipa! Good accomodations and a friendly staff. It's located close to plaza de armas and with good restaurants options near by. And If you want to join the night life, you can find pubs too. You can also enjoy the roof top to see the sunset.
