The people here are amazing. When we arrived here the first morning, the entire staff greeted us as if we were family, and it just got better from there! The breakfast is amazing. The owner cooks it all himself and he also makes a different fresh juice every morning. My favorite part is the amazing yogurt! The building was completely...

My husband and I are so happy to have found this beautiful home for our first week in Cuenca. We arrived early in the morning and we were warmly welcomed by our kind and gracious hosts. We had let them know we would be on an early flight and they had our room ready for us as soon as we...

This property was once the private home of the Ordonez family. Twelve years ago, after a 13 month renovation, it was converted to a hostal. Here in Ecuador, properties with 12 or less rooms are considered "hostals." More than 12 rooms the property is considered a hotel. So, the kids that used to sleep here, now run the place! Alberto,...

There are many choices for inexpensive accommodations in the historic area of Cuenca and we count ourselves so fortunate that we chose Casa Ordonez. The building is charming and full of furnishings of historic interest. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. The lounge area was a good place for reading, and the fresh flowers in our...

After spending one noisy sleepless night in another part of town we found Casa Ordonez. We are so very pleased that we did. This lovely historic B&B is very quiet, with comfy cozy bedrooms, with a great breakfast. We were able to walk a few blocks to the central square where there are cafes and restaurants, beautiful churches, and friendly...

Stayed here for 5 nights and I highly recommend it! The building is stunning and in a perfect location. The bedroom was wonderful with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh juice, toast, coffee and a choice of omelette, scrambled egg or French toast. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Best place you can stay in Cuenca. Excellent location, walking distance from most attractions. Breakfast is delicious and included. The rooms are homey, spacious and comfortable. There's hot water and strong wifi. The place itself is a historic residential complex transformed into a hotel and is very charming and homey. Alberto is a very interesting guy and an incredible host,...

This is a family run hotel and Alberto is justly proud of it. Our room was large and comfortable and we especially liked the common sitting area where we watched some of the hundreds of DVDs available for free. The breakfast was good and there was a good selection of breakfast options. The hotel is located in the old part...

We had the good fortune to spend three nights here. It is a one-of-a-kind experience. The hotel is a gorgeous old house that has been carefully restored to its original beauty. The home has been in the family for over 115 years and the pride of ownership is evident throughout. The entire house is furnished with treasured antiques that just...
