My wife and I loved our two night stay. The location was perfect in the middle of Old Town, 1.5 blocks from the Grand Plaza. Rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was built around a covered courtyard, with a quiet lounge at the bottom. The restaurant food was very good, though a little pricey. They do have a $25...

This smart, historic and gorgeously stylish hotel is right in the middle of old Quito. We had a highly comfortable and enjoyable stay here; with warm and welcoming staff. The rooms are sophisticated and well decorated, plus the buffet breakfast was one of the best we enjoyed in Ecuador, with wide range of fruit, juices, meats and breads; plus the...

Good location in old town Quito. Hotel was clean, spacious rooms, atmospheric. The only problem was the upstairs rooms surround an indoor eating area on the first level, and if you're a light sleeper like I am, I could hear the staff preparing breakfast, dishes clanging together, people talking in the very early a.m., rolling luggage being wheeled out. There's...

We booked a total of four nights in April as we moved about Ecuador. Our first room was a bit cramped (the back of the hotel), but serviceable. The second room (one week later) had a loft upstairs and was much more spacious (on Calle Garcia Moreno). Bathroom, living area, wi-fi, breakfast all serviceable and nice.

My wife and I needed a hotel for a couple of nights as a layover to the Galapagos. Our travel agent picked this hotel for us for two reasons. Our agent knows my wife likes old world charm and I wanted to be close to the sites. This hotel fits the bill for both. I found it to be a...

Due to the good ratings we booked this hotel for our 3 days in Quito. If you like the colonial style the hotel itself is quite okay, but it's obvious that the interior isn't state of the art - a renovation is highly recommended. The room we booked was very spacious, but the layout was totally senseless - the living...

Wonderful hotel in very convenient spot. Safe location with easy walking to Independence Square and grocery store. The staff was very helpful and was happy to book tours. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Ours looked out on the restaurant enclosed courtyard which served a very nice breakfast daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

Stayed here for three nights with a group of 14. Hotel right in the heart of the city and is the hacienda style. Rooms spacious and bed comfortable. Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights at Patio Andaluz before heading out to the Galapagos. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Very comfortable beds and furniture.
