I stayed two weeks in Quito at the Sol de Quito Hotel. Very happy with everything. It was central, secure, friendly and economical. In a residential area and with good transport options (including walkiing) to all parts of the city. The staff are excellent, Gracias a Ignacio y a todas y todos! Tim

We found this little hotel to be very friendly, very clean and very safe. Although it appears "a bit tired" and could use some updating, our overall experience was very good. Breakfast buffet was nice but not abundant for those wishing slightly larger portions. One major caution however, is the small, step down to the registration desk. It is not...

I have been going to Quito for the past 2 years. Since 2013, when I used the facilities for a training that I was giving, I made this hotel my home while there. It is 5 min from Parque La Carolina (great for running in the morning), location is really nice and quiet (although some car alarms tend to go...

This was approximately my 6th visit to this property and it's my favorite place to stay in Quito. Off the beaten track to the extent that it is QUIET at night, yet it is easy to get anywhere from here. The staff, as always, is VERY helpful and taxis are inexpensive. My mattress in the room called "Galapagos" could stand...

If you've seen the movie, you'll know what I mean. My first impression was not as good as my final impression. This little place really grows on you. It's quaint and rustic, and the staff is as friendly and helpful as it is possible to be. Ignacio would have done anything for us. It really did start to feel like...

Room was small but comfortable. Plenty of hot water. The hike up the stairs at Quito's altitude was a bit of a challenge. Hotel is also off the beaten path....cab drivers had trouble locating it. It's in a quiet area and getting a comfortable nights sleep was not a problem.

For bussines is a perfect hotel and for work and relaxing in the same time. You have space inside the room and a nice decoration into to the hotel. I think and advice that to stay with the children will be a perfect hotel.

My wife and I stayed here and both really enjoyed it. Our host was very attentive and helpful. The room was large and clean with a great view. Close by if you walk up the hill there is a nice restaurant with amazing views. Definitely recommend.

I led a group of teenagers coming to Quito after a stay in the Galapagos. They were tired and hungry and worn out after a long travel day through Guayaquil.
