We have recently spent three nights at this hotel. The level of service was amazing. The manager Maria remembered every detail mentioned in conversation and spoke with us everyday to enquire about our day and interests and if we had any problems. The room was very spacious and comfortable, the hot water reliable and the bathroom was spacious. We appreciated...

My husband and I recently spent four nights at this really superb boutique hotel in the old city of Quito on the original Inca road dating back to the 1500s. We were in between tours of the Galapagos and the Amazon and this was perfect in terms of both quality and location. The rooms are very well appointed and large!...

Loved staying at La Casona de la Ronda! Excellent service and location on Quito's oldest street. Good room service and breakfast was included. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Walking distance to most major attractions.

We stayed for 3 nights, with one of those days on the weekend in a room that overlooked the very quiet front of the hotel. This is a small hotel but given its location that isn't a surprise. The hotel is in an old traditional building and is in a perfect location for exploring the old town. The food was...

I will agree with all of the previous posts in saying this hotel is lovely, clean, and an ideal location for exploring the historic area. We stayed 4 nights and it was also our base for our all day tours to places of interest in and outside of Quito. True, the road is usually closed to cars most of the...

The hotel was built in 1738 as a residence. It's located in the Historical Center of Quito. We stayed here on three separate occasions on our visit to Ecuador - each stay was excellent. The staff was attentive. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious. One negative - depending on when you arrive, the streets around the hotel may...

This hotel is tucked away in a cobbled street in the old historic district. It doesn't look like much from the outside, just a big wooden door. But when that opens, you are transported into another century with a beautiful courtyard filled with plants and flowers. The rooms are spacious with huge comfortable beds. Downstairs there is a lounge with...

Tho location of the hotel suited us very well. Not too close to the noisy center, but in a quiet street on easy walking distace from the Plaza Mayor, the Santo Domingo and many other interesting places. The check in was warm and welcoming, efficient and smooth. Despite the simultaneous arrival of a large group; our suitcases were in no...

We stayed here twice on our Ecuador trip; our initial late arrival and then the night before departure for Galapagos. Very comfortable room. Plenty of nice wood, art, we had a nice little patio, very nice bath. Breakfast was excellent. Even though it starts at 6 AM, and we had a 6AM pick-up for the airport, the breakfast was available...

We staid here for three nights in a junior suite. The room was large and beautifully laid out with dark wood furniture. The bed must have been 8ft wide and was extremely comfortable. We staid over the weekend and did not hear any noise, our room was over inner courtyard. The filtered water in every lobby was great as was...
