We stayed her for 3 nights while passing through to the Galapagos Islands. We arrived at 3am because of flights and the hotel sent up sandwiches and drinks. The service was great and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was very nice and helpful. If I am going to go to Quito I would definitely stay here.

This hotel is amazing! The location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful. The food in the restaurant is delicious! The ceviche and fritada were amazing! Really recommend this place to stay or to have lunch.

We enjoyed six nights at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are elegant and the service very good. The opportunity to order off the menu for the inclusive breakfast was greatly appreciated. The banana pancakes were fabulous. Dinners were equally good and we ate the majority of our dinners at the hotel. The new manager gave us a warm welcome when...

A wonderful hotel with gorgeous rooms; 20 ft. Ceilings; luxury bath; comfortable beds, lovely bar; restaurant, slippers, bathrobes. Great location in Quito. A short walk to the central city plaza; also to a shopping/artistic area called el rondo. Bought some great chocolates there. The city is at 9000 feet, so if you are coming from sea level, there may be...

This a lunch set up by Link with a set menu. It is a beautiful dining are with a waiting area/lobby full of flowers especially orchids. We stayed at the Casa Gangotena for 4 nights. The hotel has old world charm with modern conveniences. Perfect location in the old city for exploring the many beautiful churches, the President's Palace and park. Our king bedded room and bath were large and comfortable. Breakfast was included and the selections were varied and more than adequate. The staff was...

We stayed at Casa Gangotena because it was booked by our travel agent and we couldn’t have been happier. We arrived later in the evening and had a wonderful dinner at the bar! We could’ve sat in the restaurant but we are bar people and the staff was very accommodating. My pasta was perfectly delicious and the drinks were reasonably...

Though perfectly located in the colonial district, esthetically charming to say the least, Casa Gangotena fell short with the basic necessities. We arrived late in the evening and after a long flight a nice hot shower would have been nice but to our surprise, there was no hater. Too tired to make anything of it, we figured it would be...

My wife and I went to this hotel yesterday. It was a good experience, but food wasn't gourmet. We found that dishes are to common that you can find them at a mall, like a Caesar Salad for an entree. The soup at dinner was too salty and spicy. I asked for a Tigrillo at breakfast, and it was salty...

Casa Gangotena is an old-fashioned luxury hotel right in the centre of the historic section of Quito. We had a room overlooking Plaza San Francisco, which was especially beautiful when illuminated in the evening. The view from the roof terrace is even more spectacular! The staff were friendly and efficient, service was excellent, wi-fi was fast and free, breakfast was...
