Secret garden Cotopaxi is heaven on earth! Unique and one of a kind! Highly recommend staying here. Everything about it is awesome. We stayed in a private cabana which was adorable and even had our own fire which the staff lit for us each night while we had dinner. The gardens around the hostel are beautiful, especially with Cotopaxi beaming... More

Like all of the reviews will tell you, the Secret Garden at Cotopaxi has stunning views of Cotopaxi and the surrounding landscape is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I stayed at the Secret Garden with a group of 6 people after hearing about this hostel from fellow travelers the moment we entered Ecuador. Once we read... More

Firstly, lets start with the good. . .this location in nothing short of magical. The beautiful Cotopaxi volcano, nestled in the distance between two other mountainous silhouettes and lush country side. It really is idyllic. I witnessed probably the best sunset of my life here and will remember those views forever. Unfortunately, the hostel and its management leaves something to... More

The natural beauty surrounding this unique facility (which is located within a short, though far from easy drive of Cotopaxi) simply has to be seen to be appreciated, having not just unobstructed views of the volcano (which, sadly, is currently unclimbable due to last year's eruptions) from every room there but gardens that surround it. Food is savory, delicious, nutritious... More

We really enjoyed our stay here on the whole, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the views of Cotopaxi from our room and the general area are amazing. We stayed in Cabana B, which seemed to have a slightly broken fireplace. You have to use a metal bar to open it, but the twist mechanism... More

Came here on a recommendation of a colleague. Very pleased, the staff was very friendly with my chaotic changes. I had one night in a cabana and one night I the dorm. Actually preferred the dorm. Pasachoa trek was fabulous. Waterfall also very nice. Views and surroundings fantastic. Food was decent with excellent dessert. Atmosphere is friendly, but I guess... More

If you're in Ecuador you really should organise some time in your trip to visit Secret Garden Cotopaxi. Whether it's for the sick views of Cotopaxi, the warm open fire, the amazing food, the hot jacuzzi, or even just spending a couple of days with the other travellers and excellent staff, it is really worth taking the time to head... I would not call secret garden a hostel. It's not very cheap and only offers full board. But the experience you get on top of that is well worth your money. The place is amazing. It doesn't matter if you're sleeping in private cabañas, hobbit houses or the dorms. The rooms, showers, jacuzzi (and even some toilets) all have magnificent... More

Secret Garden is one of the most impressive hostels I've ever stayed at. It has everything you need in an unbeatable setting. The staff were extremely friendly and everything was catered for us. If you're into hiking you'll love Secret Garden Hostel in Cotopaxi National Park.
