Great hotel with wifi, clean rooms, hot water and helpful staff. The breakfast was not great but had a fantastic view of the panacillo. If you stay in the junior sweat you get a kitchen with a sink, microwave and fridge. It has a king size bed with six pillows but the double rooms are pretty spacious and hold two... More

The rooms are large, and all nicely situated off the 3 storied central lobbies. Great breakfast on the 3rd floor with views of the City. The hotel clerks are all accommodating and helped us with restaurants and site seeing, and in particular, our last minute arrangements to see the Galapagos. This hotel is popular with business travelers, as well. Definitely... More

I chose this hotel for our quick overnight stay on the way to the Galapagos. Very quiet, felt secure, locked gate. Ordered a triple room with extra bed, and the bed was actually in a separate room altogether which was unexpected. Beautiful traditional art pieces and unusual set-up with rooms overlooking courtyard where front desk was situated.

Although the rooms are small, the location is safe and close to the Historic center of the city. The sheets are clean and the bed is comfortable. Please remember that there are no elevators, but I got a room on the first floor. Also, there is no air-conditioning or heating, but the weather was pleasant in June end. Good eating... More

We got to this hotel after staying in another place in Quito, it was the same price and superior value. The place is beautiful and clean and wi-fi works and has delicious breakfast. The room usually given to couples is the balcony, that can get veeeeery noisy but it has double doors so the noise does not disturb as much.... More

We paid $50 per night for a room off Expedia and were pleased with what we got. The hotel is located smack in the middle of the old city, within walking distance to the many cathedrals and plazas. When checking in, the very helpful front desk warned us that the area to the left as you exit the hotel is... More

As back packers, staying here was a splurge and above our regular budget but was a lovely treat! Spotless rooms and bathroom, although double room pretty small. Attentive service and happy to do extra little things with out a problem, for example scan a copy of passport which we needed. Really secure location, all locked up at night and safe... More

I spent a week in Quito at this charming hotel. The property has been refurbished some 3-4 years ago (the house is about 400 years old!). Location is great to visit the historical district, a UNESCO World Heritage site, since you can walk to all the interesting spots in town. If you would rather go to shopping malls, then it... More

We stayed here before a day trip to the Rio Verde valley region and then to Galapagos. Arrived at the hotel late at night after 6 hours of flying time. Hotel has lots of beautiful art on the walls and rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet was fine and the breakfast room overlooked a beautiful view of... More

Perfect location! In the heart of the Old City district, easy walks to amazing sights, museums, restaurants, views. We stayed 2 different times and had delightful, large, clean and comfortable rooms each time. The rooftop breakfast was delicious and provided spectacular views. Two items keep this review from being a 5. First, the staff was helpful but too reserved. My... More
