I stayed at TI (Traveler's Inn) for 2 nights in January 2016. Earlier I had written to them with my travel plans which changed twice - the owner (Daniel) was very kind and responsive and took my plans into account each time. He was also very quick to write back with detailed guidance on directions and public transport options. Finding...

Travellers Inn is cute, clean, quiet*, and convenient. The rooms and bathrooms are spaceous. The staff is nice and helpful and someone is always available 24/7. The breakfast is basic but good and quick. There was plenty of hot water and decent water pressure. The Inn is not technically in La Mariscal, but it is only about 2 blocks north...

I checked in around 1:30AM as the flight arrives around midnight. I was shown my room and formal check-in was completed when I checked out 3 days later. The breakfast was sumptuous everyday. My room was in the back (additions to this place). For the price I paid it was reasonable . If you like walking, everything is within a...

We are travelling south America and are spending some days in Quito. This hotel is price-worthy. The breakfast is good! These guys are very helpful. Overall service is great, which includes a food&beverage kiosk with fair prices as well as laundry for 1,50 USD/kilo. Staying here the second time, we are happy. Room 006 is very small! Should you book...

We've stayed in the Travellers-Inn for three nights and enjoyed it. Pros : - Friendly staff who serves breakfast with a smile and asks if anything more is needed. - As a breakfast guy I also need to mention their good breakfast :-) - They have their own travel agency and Daniel (one of owners family) recommended us a good...

The family run historic mansion that is converted to B&B. It's impeccably clean and welcoming. We booked thru AirBB and took advantage of promotion they run - free airport transfer and free city tour. Stayed in Room 201.City tour was awesome. Daniel's degree is in tourism, so Old Quito tours was very informative and interesting. We've learned so much inside...

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough... the staff were so accommodating and friendly. I arrived in the middle of the night and they went out of their way to help me. I needed help with some other things during my stay and again they were there to help. It was the kind of service i would expect from a...

This was a homely, clean and comfortable hotel close to La Mariscal district, restaurants and bars. This is not the safest feeling area but the hotel itself was very secure. The staff were lovely and helpful and offered advice on safety and the city. Beds were super comfy and showers were good & hot. Breakfast was substantial and nicer than...

The rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. There is a free breakfast served daily in a table clothed dinning room. This is an owner operated place, so they care about the business. They speak english well and are more then willing to answer your questions. They can also setup tours, with professional guides and going rates. This is not...

This place caters to the budget traveler, and is far and away superior than most hostels. It has many amenities of a typical hotel: a large, diverse breakfast; TV; and cheap private rooms. We stayed there several days and were very impressed with the staff, cleanliness, and location. Highly recommended for the budget traveler trying to avoid the party vibe...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is an antique Mansion, part of the city's heritage. It used to be owned by the Quitea aristocracy of the first years in the 20th Century. Run by Pilar, even she speaks 'poquito' English, you will always have a smiling face trying to suit your needs. Anyway, there is always someone around who speaks English. We have first quality bedrooms, with private/shared bathrooms and 24 hours hot water, TV, phone, wireless Internet, security boxes, wake up call and daily room service. ... more   less
