The hotel is on the 4th flr of a pedestrian street so you have to wait downstairs on the sidewalk if you called a taxi, no way of knowing if it's there if you're on the 4th flr. The elevator only goes to the 4th flr, so in our case our room was on the 5th flr and had to...

The Santa Lucia is a decent hotel in the middle of the fun zone of Santiago. Enjoy the streets and plazas with excellent street musicians just a short walking distance. Not too far from museums and government buildings. We walked everywhere, and enjoyed the journey. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Location of this hotel is great as close to plazas, main pedestrian only streets, and the Metro. Noisy if on San Antonio side of building ( odd room numbers I think), other side is soooo much quieter. They change my room very promptly. Wifi is ok. Breakfast is poor but the tea and toast are hot. Staff are very friendly....

I ended here because I was in trouble. When I took a quick look in the hotel, I thought I would not be as expensive as it is (65$/night, breakfast TV and WiFi included). Besides, the hotel is quite well located. The room are comfy, the internet works well, and the breakfast is good (but very simple, without any fruits)

Dear Tsiory, We apologize if we didn’t meet your expectations for the price, we work with revenue management and a dynamic rate depending on the hotel’s occupation. It is difficult to get a last minute cheap rate. We suggest that if you decide to visit us again you check with time our early booker rate on our website that can...

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the end of our trip before leaving Santiago for Australia and home. The hotel is in the city centre, pretty close to the things a traveller needs. It is a basic hotel, which is starting to really look its age. Breakfast was included in the daily rate; a basic breakfast but certainly...

Dear Glenn, I would like to start by apologizing for the bad experience you had with the noise in your room. I would also like to point out that we have interior rooms available, at the same price than the street ones, that are protected from the street noise. Also, all of our rooms that face the street have double...

My group of three friends stayed here on three separate occasions within a four week period as Santiago was the hub for our flights in and out of South America. The reason for my overall high rating is that the hotel is very good value for money. It is extremely well located in the central business district. We got a...

Hotel Santa Lucia is not fancy but it is perfectly fine, well situated in the heart of the business district and with very kind staff. I went mainly to catch a couple of ballet performances at the gorgeous Teatro Municipal de Santiago, which is just a block from the hotel. Breakfast is basic but one could oder omelettes and other...

Dear Guest, I would like to start by apologizing for your bad experience on behalf of the entire hotel staff. We did not have any other complaints about the water temperature during this year and our water system always reported a temperature over 60ºC on the boilers that translates into a temperature of 40ºC to 45ºC depending on the location...

For the value payed it`s a big desapointment. Room it´s very poor and the lack of maintenance it´s evidente. When in Central Santiago there is a hotel with plenty of rooms to rent, be suspicious and ask if it's possible to see the room first. Not recomended

I visited Santiago, Chile prior to a Holland American cruise for one night. We wanted to be close to the central square. My travel agent in the US had difficulty finding a hotel to fulfil our wants. I found latintrip.com or Chile-hotels.com or Chile-tours.com on the web. With their service I was able to arrange airport to hotel and hotel...
