Perfect location, super friendly staff and great showers, beds and toilets. Rooms were clean and comfy beds. Breakfast was really good, fruit, spreads, bread, eggs and drinks and there was also a kitchen to make other meals. Would definitely recommend it !

I stayed for 1 night because the person I was staying with for the week was gone the day I arrived. This was my first Hostel Experience. I must say it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The Dinner that was served was homemade and phenomenal! The Room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the...

Got a recommendation for this hostel and we were very happy with it! Everything is in good condition, the location is very good (near Baquedano metro and Bellavista nightlife) and breakfast just great with enough fruits, cereals, milk, coffee and bread! The entire hostel is getting cleaned every day properly and the two kitchens are very well maintained! The two...

Hi Raephels, Thanks for your words, when you work in hospitality over 9 years now (it´s our birthday this month) and you hear words like yours it´s amazing how you touch our heart. Managment here works hard to have all the details prepared for each traveller and we have many suprises this year. Next time we will be much better....

I stayed 3 days in Hostal Providencia. I was not really caring about the place, as long as it had a good localization. Hostel Providencia has a competitive price, the bedrooms are OK, internet is good, it´s a big house, you can take a hot bath (extremely important), and they have good tours to offer to the guests. I might...

This hostel is conveniently located (walking distance to the metro station and Bellavista). It's a big hostel, with really good breakfast, clean rooms and bathrooms. The bar is ok and they have several social rooms for you to just hang around. Great option for staying in santiago.

We stay 3 nights in this youth hostel : we got no hot water ! Each morning, we told the guy of the reception, who "had to do a note for intervention because it never happens"... and still no hot water !!! We finally had to change room, the last night... after discovering no note were ever made. Room was...

Hostal Providencia is located near to the best part part of Santiago, just 5 minute-walk from Baquedano metro station and the neighborhood of Bellavista, where you will find the best nightlife with many pubs, bars and restaurants. Excellent if you dont want to be in the midst of the action but close enough to get in and out on foot....

Hi! And thanks so much for your review! That's a great point about reception, we have actually just started a project with a professional graphic design company to overhaul it! Hopefully you'll be back soon to see the results?!? Great to hear that you enjoyed the "Terremoto"s! We have them every week on Mondays and also Pisco Sours on Thursday!...

We stayed at Hostal Providencia 3 nights before our flight back home and were sad that we couldn't stay longer! The hostal has everything you're looking for: the best location (everything important is nearby in walking distance), nice and helpful staff, the option to book trips (we made a vineyard tour and were very happy with our choice!) and good...

We were super pleased with the accommodation of late night check-in, unfortunately missed breakfast both mornings getting adjusted to the time change. Everything thing was clean and well maintained, the common areas were nice but often crowded. Over all a quiet and comfortable stay
