The hotel is nicely situated and quite in a patch of tall trees near a river. The rooms and halls are very large and clean but a little stuffy. IMHO they need more ventilation and carpet shampoo . I was on the 3rd floor. No thermostat in the room to set individual heating or air conditioning as the air is...

from the empty cavernous reception area with lift music on a loop,to the patterned carpets with non matching eighties patterned upholstery this place did not send out good vibes as we booked in. The experiance got worse when we went for a reviving drink in the bar which is on the first floor open to reception below and long and...

The hotel is rather nice - quiet, beautiful location on the island, about 25 minutes walk to the center; very comfortable beds; clean; good breakfast buffet; nice pool. However, all relaxation effects were null and void by the unpleasant experience at check-out - first, they quoted me DOUBLE the rate which had been agreed, then they lowered this amount twice,...

Spent a weekend and it was very nice. It is a beautiful hotel with great and relaxing views. It is at a walkable distance from the center but since Valdivia is a rainy city maybe a car would be a good option. The staff were very prompt and friendly and the breakfast was quite complete. The room was very spacious...

This beautiful hotel is almost perfectly placed. It is quiet and secluded, and the rooms are lovely. The view from our room was spectacular, and the gardens below the restaurant at breakfast were charming. The hotel was nearly empty, which was surprising. The bed was comfortable. There were lots of birds to watch.

My wife and I booked a one room stay through bookings.com at this hotel for $164.00. When we arrived we were surprised at how EMPTY this hotel seemed to be. The staff were nice. The rooms were very comfortable with really nice large beds. We talked about how this seemed to be a very nice hotel and we felt sorry...

I was actually surprised by the beautiful setting and views from this hotel. This hotel had been arranged for a work meeting, so I did not have the high expectations of a 5 star hotel (as other reviewers did). With low expectations, I thought this hotel was quite nice and suitable for a week long workshop. The surroundings and view...

We stayed for two nights, but will never return to this hotel. Nothing worked as it should. To open or close the sliding doors of your cupboard, you have to be Superman. With the safebox you had to struggle 10 minutes to close it. No climate control in the room. The wireless internet drops out every so often. No sign for...
