We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel for three nights during our recent holiday in Chile. Apart from the the stunning views across the lake, the beautiful gardens and the other amenities of the hotel we found the staff very kind and helpful. We also enjoyed exploring Pucon (which we thought was like a ski resort without the snow)... More

This is a great place to stay when in Pucon. the hotel has a main wing which includes the dining room, sitting rooms, etc. There is another wing with accommodation only and a house on the waters edge. The hotel is adjacent to and overlooks Lake Villarrica. The hotel has not changed since it was built in the 1950s by... More

On route from Puerto varas we stopped in pucon for one night at the Antumala and wished we had booked longer, the rooms was a bit seventies but this added to the ambiance , town was as short drive with shopping , restaurants , cafe abundant . Our room overlooked the lake so peaceful sat watching out of the large... More

We were only there for the night but I wish we could have stayed the entire week. A beautiful hotel with amazing views of the lake. Great attention to detail and luxurious without being too much. Would come back to Pucón just to stay here again.

I'm probably biased, since I am an architect, but this was hands-down my favorite hotel in Chile. The design is modern, but with local materials that warmed it up and made it fit perfectly in its setting. And the setting is fantastic; right on the edge of a stunning lake and surrounded by subtle but beautiful landscaping. The building is... More

This is great to hear! Many thanks. We do agree that the stunning design of the Antumalal is a perfect combination of the old and the new. One of our daily tasks is to renew without changing that original design concept. Thank you for spending time at Antumalal and appreciating these details. We do hope that one day you will... More

It has history and you can feel it inn the walls. Good food and wine and the best view over the lake. A walk in the garden is essential. Great place to stay when you skit- tour the volcanos. Stefan Palm Mountaintime.se

This was such a welcome stay in Pucon, away from the touristy town center with incredible views of the lake. It was a perfect mix of Palm Springs meets old school Lake Tahoe. The rooms are small, but comfortable and the cozy common areas more than make up for it. Can't wait to come back.

This was my second visit to this hotel and, probably, will not be my last. In addition to beautiful lake views and incredible architecture they also offer a BirdingTour that includes a walk in the fabulous gardens and some private properties as well. Places and birds we would never have seen without this guided tour. I went with a serious... More

Thank you so much for your detailed comment. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the Birding Tour offered in the hotel gardens, it really is something else. Old world presence with service to match. Our time at Hotel Antumala was exceptional. Attention to detail and service was second to none. Most amazing romantic backdrop for our second honeymoon. Staff were helpful and friendly in all areas. They organised our climbing adventure up Villarica Volcano, providing a packed lunch. Hand delivered handmade chocolates to our room every night.... Would have to agree with other reviews that this hotel is trading on past reputation. The older style decor didn't worry me at all - but the toilet that wouldn't flush properly did. The front desk service was ok but not overly enthusiastic. It is definitely not a 5-star hotel. We had 1 dinner & all breakfasts (basic spread) at... More
