I recently spent several nights at Pebble Island Lodge as a base to hike the hills and see the wildlife. The place is superbly situated and very comfortable, with Rikki and his chef being great hosts. The food was of a very high standard too. I was taken to see some of the penguin colonies and key sites from the...

This was our introduction to the Falklands - and it did not disappoint! We only had two days - but, thanks to Ricki, the manager and Josh, our guide we packed a great deal into the time we had - we were able to observe wonderful wildlife. When Josh realised that my husband was interested in the 1982 conflict, he...

Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Comfortable room, Controllable radiators and opening windows , so it was easy to obtain ideal temperature. Meals are communal ,and over pretty quickly! Gives time for a walk after dinner. Very good full day tour, good combination of wildlife and battle history. Also had a half day tour to the other part...

Stayed here for one night as part of a trip to the Falkland Islands. The lodge is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were offered tea and biscuits while we sorted out our plans for the day. We arrived in the afternoon due to the flight schedule for the day and went for a...

Our bedroom was spacious with a fine sweeping view over grazing sheep with the sea beyond. We could easily adjust the temp of the radiator in the room and there was a hot towel rail in the shower room which was welcome. A load of laundry for £3 was done in a few hours. Communal dining at one table, the...

Some hooks to hang clothes but no hangers. Comfortable bed. Large comfortable lounge - tv/dvd, book swop, and honesty bar. There are a few souvenirs for sale. Food...

Pebble Island Lodge was my first stop in the Falklands. The manager, Ricky, met me at the airstrip and then took me to the lodge. My room was very comfortable and had two single beds, a desk, wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Internet is available using cards issued by the local satellite Internet provider. The cards can be used at any...

Ricky is a first class host, can see why Pebble Island Lodge has won the Falkland Islands Tourist Board overall experience for the past 2 years running. Our room was clan, comfortable and plenty big enough for a large wooden cot that was provided for our baby. There were always delicious biscuits and cake on offer between meals to go...
