Falklands were the biggest surprise of our travels so far! They are remote, incredibly beautiful and the nature is amazing! While staying at Stanley we stayed at Kay´s B&B and we must say that we really did feel like at home :) Kay is great, the stories she shared help you to understand the history of the islands and the...

Kay is a very nice lady. Her breakfast and cakes are fabulous (very tasty and there is a lot of variety). You can stay in a room or you can camp on her land. We personally slept in the garage because it was raining this day.

I arrived at MPA without any accommodation booked and was nearly refused entry. It is essential that you have your hotel/B&B booked before you arrive. Anyway, my stay was arranged with the lovely ladies from LAN and I ended up at Kay's B&B. Very nice breakfast with fresh eggs from her own chickens, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and...

Sailing around Cape Horn and arriving in the Falklands tired and in need of a warm, dry and comfortable bed was high on the priority list as well a nice meal. Got it all at this place. Absolutely terrific. Highly recommended and the host?? Like a gran away from home. Beautiful.

On one of my voyages I stayed here for several nights. Wow. One night we enjoyed roast lamb. Delicious. My room was very comfortable with an amazing view. Down stairs was nice and comfortable. Great value with such a charming host. Made it difficult to leave to sail North.

My second visit to the Falkland Islands and first for my friend. We came to see my daughter who lives in Stanley. We booked in with Kay for six nights and ended up staying seven due to delayed flights. Our twin room was gorgeous, very comfortable and each night Kay would put a hot water bottle into our beds. Kay's...

I had read the reviews on here before traveling, and especially the review by the gay couple. I am not gay, but she took an immediate dislike to me from the second she saw me and took an obvious look at my wedding ring as if wondering to herself why a man would travel without his wife. I have to...

Kay could not have been more welcoming. From clean, comfortable rooms to a excellent breakfast, Kay's B&B was excellent value for money. But if you are over 6' tall watch out - the house was not designed for tall people with especially with low doorways & low ceilings in the Bedroom.

well what do you say about a stay with Kay. Double bed, warm downstairs and the ability to control the temperature upstairs. I cannot stand a hot bedroom, so it was bliss to be able to open windows and enjoy quality fresh air yet be all toasty when you needed to be. Oh yes, perfect eggs - boiled or fried!...

Me and my son, we had a perfect stay in Stanley, mainly also thanks to Kay. We stayed two nights at her place and had even one evening dinner with her - she is just an amazing cook, it was soooo delicious. Kay's B&B is centrally located in a very calm road, one to two minutes from the west store...
