We had a 9 night combined business/private stay in the Oasis Hotal Downtown in a club room. This was the second time we stayed in this hotel.
The hotel is located just on the other side of the road of Tanjon Pagar subway station, its about a 10 minute walk to china town.
Check in on the 12th floor could help us with our request to get a split invoice for the business and private nights.
The room in floor 23 was spacious and provided enough space to store luggage and plugs to charge various electronic devices. The bathroom is integrated into the room, separated by glass walls as it is often made in newer hotels. The arrangement of bathtub and shower is a bit special but this is more a issue for cleaning the room than using it. From our room, we had a direct view to the pool on the club floor in level 21. The room and all public areas of the hotel were always clean and in a good condition.
The club floor provides a pool for club guests (anther pool for all hotel guests is located on the top floor) and a breakfast area for them where a continental breakfast is served in the morning. Alternatively, the general breakfast area on the ground floor can be used. Non-alcoholic drinks are available on the club floor the whole day, between 6-8pm, small very tasty snacks and drinks are served there as well. The only little drawback here was that the water in the pool can be a bit fresh sometimes.
What made the stay in the hotel special was the friendliness and hospitality for the personal at the club lounge. Especially Daryl, Annabel and André (concierge at the ground floor), helped us a lot and provided an excellent service. This gave us the feeling of really being welcomed there.
If we have to stay in Singapore again, this hotel is defiantly our favourite.

Quiet The rooms here are very quiet, never heard a noise from above or below. Had good sleep.
Clean Overall very clean and comfortable. Foreigner-friendly hotel.
Great View Could see the 12F garden, and the ocean.
Access 3-5 minute walk to nearest MRT station (Tanjong Pagar)
Shops Seven-Eleven, and Coldstorage supermarket nearby. Numerous restaurants.
Staffs All the staffs I met were kind and very helpful. Special thank you to Leo for helping us throughout our stay and even after, as it was our first time in Singapore.

We had then Suite room. The room was spacious and the hotel manager Mr Kenny Yeo personally escorted us to the room. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary red wine, fruits and customized decor with balloons and towel swans to commemorate our recent wedding. We were thankful for the meticulous dedication to details and sanitisation labels throughout the hotel and room, to make us feel very safe in a clean space.
We had exclusive club room access and the infinity pool at the 21st level was great with sun beds and accompanying tables. It’s an semi indoor pool so you don’t have to worry about too much sun. We also like that there were much natural greenery and plants by the pool that makes it feel resort-like despite being in the city centre.
This location is surrounded by lots of good food and amenities. Transportation is easy with Tanjong Pagar MRT in a stone’s throw away. Would love to be able to return for another staycation soon!

We really wanted to love this hotel. It looks good, the Lobby on both the 12th floor and 21st level for the Club are really nice with the Club Lobby particularly expansive and very nice. The staff are nice and try their level best, but they were pretty lost with some simple items and we believe that they were understaffed and undertrained. Things like breakfast took an exceptionally long time, with food arriving cold and needing to be sent back (first round after waiting for 40 minutes, followed by waiting for the replacements for 30 more minutes). At the Club Level Happy Hour, there was only 1 person tending to the guests, and he was brought across from the front desk, leaving that desk unattended or unmanned for long periods, which is not a good service to the employee or guests.
The rooms were very small, but well appointed, with very hard beds and honestly quite strange views. We were recommended for a pool view, which the front desk attendant said was the best view in the hotel, but it looked out to a large public housing building and felt very claustrophobic. Odd.
We would love to recommend the hotel, but cannot.
We'd advise some pretty strong enhancements by the management and some action (instead of a boilerplate 'We're sorry, please come back" message in response) that will improve the overall quality of the hotel. It is only slightly less expensive than superior hotels in Singapore where many of the residents, like us, are doing staycations. We would highly recommend that you look elsewhere until you are able to travel again.

Reserved a stay here back in April to celebrate a friend's birthday. Paid for the superior rooms connecting as there were 3 of us which were two standard rooms with a connecting door. Place is very small, and the toilet is fairly compact but still decent enough for a stay of two nights.
Rooms are clean and would like to comment that housekeepers are very diligent particularly during this coronavirus era, the cleaning was exceptionally well clean and disinfected.
Mr Zalmund 's the front-line hotel staff is friendly and good hospitality certainly will make us come back in the second half of 2020. Love the roof top pool, a perfect place to sunbathe, relax and servers at the poolside restaurant are nice too.
We hang out on top of the roof pool and it's been fantastic with a view of the sky. It is more appropriate for couple staycation.
The hotel itself is brilliant but it is the people who make the difference. I can't wait to rebook our stay again, thank you, when we can stay again.

My husband and I visited Oasia over the weekend (26 to 27 Oct) to celebrate his birthday. This was the very first visit we had at Oasia club room and we were impressed by how Oasia serves the customer even during this season of pandemic. The staffs were frequently seen disinfecting the seats around the poolside and club room. Even though there were not much snacks at the club room, probably to abide by the safety measures, the staff were always very friendly and approachable. I can sense that they were probably understaffed, but the two male executives (one was Xavier, the other one I could not catch his name, but a tall bespectacled man) were still attentive to our needs. For instance, we were having breakfast and Xavier was very attentive to wind down the curtains as the sunlight was shining into the windows where we were seated at. I hope this will encourage the staff working at the frontline during this pandemic as it is definitely not easy to be at the frontline during COVID-19. Thanks for the memorable visit and we will return for a staycation again soon! :)

I picked this place because my brother recommended it earlier this year. The biggest draw to me was that they don’t allow children on the club floor.
I visited the reception floor for the non-club rooms and there were many kids there, so this may be a practice continued even in school holiday- covid times. If you want a peaceful city escape, I recommend Oasia club rooms for this particular reason.
The view and ambience is pretty amazing for a city hotel, and a CBD one no less. You’re surrounded by lush trees and a cool breeze when you’re by the pool, where you can take your breakfast and cocktails. Just make sure you book your pool visits to coincide with your breakfast or cocktail hour.
The room was also great. The room appeared properly sanitised, the bathroom toiletries from Biology smelled and felt good, and we were also allowed a slightly later check out that day.
Above all, I think the best part was the staff. An experience at a good hotel with a wonderful room can always be marred by poor experience with staff and service, but this was not the case here. Overall, staff were helpful and attentive and did their best to accommodate and advise us on how best to enjoy our stay. Special shoutout to Isnawanti who checked us in and was attentive to our needs!

Great location and really amazing staff. Joelle at the reception provided 5 star service (she was the highlight of my stay really). everyone i came into contact was so nice and pleasurable. The price point is reflected on the service and location of the hotel The rates are reasonable for Singapore so i feel like we cannot really expect much. But the reason for the "average" review is housekeeping and breakfast/club lounge
If you are not super picky, you could totally love this hotel, but i found housekeeping to be really on and off, sometimes they would replenish everything (i had a club room so free minibar), sometimes items were not replenish and cups werent cleaned/replaced. Breakfast was a 3 star hotel affair, 3 options for main (to be honest none of them great), barely any fruits or pastries but a ton of cereal and 2 juices. The sitting at the breakfast/lounge was impossible to eat, large couches with side tables, but comfortable if you just want to lounge around. The club pool was super dirty the first day i arrived but cleaned on the next day, also the lack of direct sunlight into the pool was a little bit annoying if you would like to get a tan like me. Overall, the location and the staff are really the stars of the property. For the price, you cant really complain that much, but also feel like the shortcomings of my stay are easily fixable if management put a little more effort into it

My friend and I decided on this hotel to redeem our Singapore Rediscover voucher. This Klook deal came with an $80 meal voucher, which were redeemed seamlessly at The Marmalade Pantry at Level 1. There were no issues with checking-in and out, we had requested for our separate bookings to be linked up and the front desk kindly obliged with a positive attitude.
However, we face mostly housekeeping issues. The bedroom slippers were dirty (in its packaging) so we dialed Front Desk for fresh pairs, we waited for about an hour but no one turned up and we had to call to chase as we were leaving soon for dinner. Our rooms were also not made up in a timely manner despite giving sufficient time (i.e. the whole morning) to make up the room. The room was untouched when we came back in the afternoon. In the end, we had to vacate the hotel room and lounge around Level 12 (in the afternoon sun) so that we do not get in the Housekeeper's way.
The network in the hotel room is also rather poor. We were watching a movie on HBO and the TV screen would black out several times with a "Weak or No Signal" message. We had to switch between channels frequently and this can be mildly frustrating.
The pool at Level 27 was also a little dirty; soil from the gardening nearby can be seen at the bottom of the pool. We would also appreciate it if fresh dry towels were provided at Level 27, instead of Level 12. It is inconvenient to obtain dry towels at Level 12 in a wet swimsuit.
Overall, it was really an average stay. The staff were not rude and my stay was not vexatious. My friend and I had a somewhat restful weekend nonetheless. If it was not for the SG Rediscover voucher, I definitely would not pay full price ($300ish/night) for a deluxe room. I have stayed at Oasia Novena previously and I enjoyed my stay there, so naturally I hold Oasia Downtown to the same standards but they have clearly fell short.
I understand that the Housekeeping department could be understaffed, which explains the tardiness. Hopefully the hotel management will consider beefing up the department (or switch their cleaning vendor). I would love to visit again.

As usual, I had the most awesome stay at Oasia Downtown. Despite the new Phase 2 HA measurements, the Oasia Downtown team never let their service standards falter.
Breakfast and complimentary snacks & drinks were delivered to our doorstep and were wrapped up diligently. Housekeeping also insisted to clean the room for hygiene purposes even though I thought it wasn't needed. I was much impressed by the conviction to maintain the cleanliness during this period of time, it makes guests feel extra safe to be staying with the hotel.
The picturesque infinity pool was the place I hung out the most during my stay. The pool was kept very clean, and they only allowed a maximum of 4 guests each hour. Having a good swim and just watching the sunset & city view was most definitely helpful in recharging one's energy!
A huge thank you to the wonderful service staff Letitia, Bhawna, Alvis, Glen, Gwen & all the other staff whose names I haven't managed to catch. You have made my 3d2n staycay an absolutely wonderful one! I will be back definitely, so i hope to see you guys again when I do! :)

You don’t need to book a lower category room and then try and upgrade. Just get on the Oasia Hotels own official website and book the Club room. We did that and booked a Club room for 3 nights and by booking direct we got a 4pm late checkout (or we could have chosen an early 10am check in).
There are more places to choose from in the Singapore area.
