Detailed Reviews
The exterior looks nice, however, the rooms were worn out, stuffy and equipped with old furniture. Expired elevator permit. Requested the interconnecting rooms but disappointed to learn that there are no connecting room at the hotel. The staff were polite and helpful. Close to many bus stops and good eateries nearby. Very strong Wi-fi signal.

Never tried budget hotel bedore, but this is good enough for budget hotel. What I feel is nice welcome, wifi, water, snack. Near lavender, so this is good for my last biztrip. Budget hotel but clean and no smelly. However, maybe bed not so comfort as it is hard enough.
Ps. You may use RedDoorz for this hotel, as my senior booked using that vendor

Went to survey hotel before booking. Managed to interact with the staff name of, nelson. Very friendly guy. The rooms are neat and clean. TV & fridge is working well. There’s a safe in the room as well. Not too shabby toilet.
We stayed two nights at the hotel. I have requested a quieter room that’s away from the main road. Nelson told me that the back of the hotel is their own parking space so it isn’t noisy at night which is true.
Nearby there’s lots of eateries and going to town or clark quay area is easily access by car or public transport.
The receptionists on duty are friendly and patient too.
They have mention that the cafe at the lobby should be ready around end of april which is something to look forward to.

I realize this was only a 3 star hotel but I was very disappointed with the location and the room. The first night I arrived the room was dirty and appeared to have never been vacuumed. I left for two nights and upon my return was put in another room in which the bathroom had not been cleaned and the toilet ran all night.

Pictures are deceiving. Walls were mouldy everywhere - dirty and smelly
We checked in and moved out immediately as staff couldn’t help us. Can’t give us another room.
The hallway and the rooms are so smelly with moist mould - you will get sick - stay away

We booked this “hotel” for a 4 night stay after a mix-up with a previously booked 4 star hotel. It looked great on-line and I read some good reviews before booking. We booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 3 teenagers with a request for an extra bed in one room.
Disappointment immediately set in when we spotted the hotel from across the road, it wasn’t what was expected from the photos. It was relatively small and in a dirty part of town. On checking-in we were told that we had two rooms with two double beds, I mentioned that we had ordered an extra bed in one bedroom and was told that it wasn’t possible and they said three people had to share one double bed! We were then asked to show them where it stated on-line that an extra bed would be available, I showed them the booking website and said it was false advertising if an extra bed wasn’t possible. They then agreed to an extra bed which, when it arrived in the room, it was in fact similar to a keep-fit mat! In fairness, after complaining about the extra bed scenario, we were offered a full refund to go and stay somewhere else but we had just travelled 27 hours and needed some sleep, had we known at the time what we know now we would have taken the refund without a second thought.
The bedrooms were tiny, our bathroom at home is more spacious! Very very basic and no way should be a 3 Star. The room needed a thorough clean and we slept for 4 nights without even using the pillows as they were yellow due to sweat stains, I didn’t dare look at the mattress! The bathroom served a purpose, the standalone sink had a mass of bits and bobs behind it - we found a used ear bud and several bottle caps! We joked that we could have done a boot sale with the rubbish that we found in the room including the used plaster found under the bed!
On walking down the hallway, a bedroom door was open and inside were about 8 people who were all sat around the bed, using the bed as a table, eating a curry!
Dreaded going back there every night, it’s a basic “hotel” for strays!
Definitely would not even recommend to my worst enemy.

I booked this hotel for 3guests two rooms for two nights for 26-28nov from make my trip but I got confirmation of only one room for 3 guests ....its been 14 days since booking I haven't get any resolution regarding this issue.... Make my trip neither provide refund nor two rooms
As per photo of deluxe twin room on hotel website it has two single beds and there is no space to put extra mattress ... I don't know how hotel allow makemytrip app to book for 3 guests in one deluxe twin room when hotel has clearly mention on website accommodate two guests.
Make my trip has put us in very bad situation before start of my trip.
Don't know whom to blame for this but both hotel and make my trip should take responsibility to solve this issue ASAP.
Make my trip manager promised to solve this issue on 19th nov but he never revert back.... Hope they resolve this issue before my stay.
Worst is hotel is fully booked on my travel dates (kindly see screenshot of what's app conversation with hotel ) I cant even book another room.
Because of all this my land tour is messed up as I cant put two pick up locations for one group

I stayed in this hotel at the beginning of December 2016.
This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in Singapore.
At check in, I confirmed with reception my room and my breakfast. The receptionist was nice and I got my key without any problem.
The lift for his hotel was quite smelly and warm. In the hallways, which are quite noisy due to the poor flooring, you could feel a dampness from the humidity and lack of proper air conditioning.
The bedroom itself was small and the room's air conditioner barely worked. Even when turned to the lowest setting and highest fan power, it took so many hours to begin to cool the room.
The bed was probably the hardest bed I have ever slept on. It felt incredibly old and smelled dusty. It was so uncomfortable that I placed my pillows under my body to sleep on the mattress of the bed.
I tried to take a shower the night I arrived. The shower did NOT have hot water. Can you believe that? I waited and waited, thinking perhaps it took time to heat up. No. It simply ran cold the entire time. I was shocked! NO hot water!
So, I gave up and decided to shower in the morning. Maybe it was under repair? Who knows.
In the morning, I tried to shower again. No hot water! None. All cold water. No choice, I began washing my hair. As I was washing my hair, the head of the fixture actually broke from the wall and hit me in the head! I actually was not surprised because I realized I was staying in a very bad hotel. I had to finish washing my hair while bending down, because the fixture was only connected at the bottom.
I told the reception about the incident after that, and she did apologize. I did not make noise, complain, or ask for a refund. After all, if the hotel cannot afford to have a proper shower, perhaps they cannot afford a refund also.
One of the biggest disappointments was at breakfast. I sat down to have breakfast. I had requested the night before to have hot cakes. A dirty man in slippers and no proper uniform came out from the kitchen and served me eggs and bacon. I told him that I had ordered hot cakes.
He told me in very poor English, "No, they try call you already one, no hot cakes." So I told him I did not want to eat it. He made a rude noise, as if it were my problem, and stormed off into the kitchen. I was so disappointed. Again, I did not complain or say anything to him, and I had every right to be angry. So, I just left politely. Instead of complaining to them, I knew it would be better that I inform others on TripAdvisor of my experience. I hope you stay away from this hotel.

Response from nilsontay, Public Relations Manager at The Noble Hotel
Responded 29 Dec 2016
Dear Sir, thank you for taking time to review our hotel, it is unfortunate that we did not meet your high expectations. The site where the Noble Hotel sits on is gazetted as a Conservation Site by Singapore’s governing body known as Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore https://www.ura.gov.sg/uol/conservation/conservation-xml.aspx?id=JLNBSR# to retain the rich Historical values and the unique architectural design that each shop houses of Jalan Besar has. With the unique architectural design, it poses a special set of challenges for our Engineers and Contractors not only to ensure the comfort level of our guest but also comply with the strict regulations imposed by the authority. Up to date The Noble Hotel is still undergoing works to further and better improve the Hotel. The water heater in the rooms are all standalone and not from a central unit therefore even if maintenance were conducted, it will not affect all the guest and it will be isolated to only the room/s affected. To activate the water heater, guest will have to switch on the water heater switch which is located outside the bathroom. The Housekeepers will thoroughly inspect every rooms prior to marking it as available. Some of these routines includes the soundness of the fixtures in the rooms. We apolagise that the fixture broke while you were using it. We sincerely apolagise for the mishap and it is indeed unfortunate and unforeseeable that the shower head would break and hit you while you are using it. The attire for our café staff is all Black and all food handlers are all certified by the National Environment Agency of Singapore, therefore hygiene is maintained at a high level. Even the café is given an A grade for its cleanliness by the governing agency. We ensure you that food safety is of paramount importance and at no point shall it or will be compromised. It is unfortunate that you did not get what you have requested for your breakfast. Our duty Chef will try their best to meet the demands of our guest whenever he could. The reception did try to contact you multiple times trying to notify you that the set you wanted for breakfast was not available however they were not able to get hold of you. Under such circumstances, Chef’s would usually refund the money to the guest however out of goodwill the Chef prepared an alternative set knowing that your partner is also having breakfast with you on the same morning. All our staff comes from all walks of life and off different language proficiency, one of the principles of Noble Hotel is equal opportunity, we do not penalise or make it a strict requirement for prospective staff to be very proficient in English, what we do is we train and develop staff by sending them for courses not only to best fit their job roles but to also better their lives in the long term. We do apologise if our staff’s way of walking or talking appeared as aggressive or rude, we will council and advise him on the matter. We are constantly looking out for opportunity to improve ourselves. Thank you for giving The Noble Hotel the opportunity to be your host for your trip, we thank you for submitting the feedback. Feel free to get in touch with us through reservations@thenoblehotel.com Yours Sincerely The Noble Hotel Singapore
