Standard room with budget price per night. The hotel location is great. Quite near to the city district and downtown area. However the MRT station is quite a distance away, its walk-able though. There's a mall along the way to the MRT station, City Plaza. A mall which sells cheap and fashionable clothing, similar to Bugis street. There're bars and...

The room was clean and well set up. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was good value for money. The location was close to a mall and restaurants and not far from the metro. We enjoyed our two night stay here.

Hotel is not always about the rooms but it is also how passionate the staff are.. Once again thank you to these two staff and the rest...

Great value for money. The room space and bathroom is tight but clean. There was a funny smell which may be coming from the vent, like cigar scent. The street environment is also charming. Very near the airport. Walking distance from the train. Will not hesitate to recommend or book here again :)

Takes around 15 minutes walking distance to reached main road. The staff very helpful. Room is good except for the smell of the cigarette that circulated in the room. Lots of Muslim restaurant and stall especially near the main road. Food was delicious at Mr Teh Teh Tarik and its open 24 hours. Will stay again at this hotel when...

Staying in Joo Chiat

Neighbourhood Profile
Joo Chiat
The Joo Chiat area is the traditional home of Peranakan culture in Singapore, an ethnic group descending from the blending of Chinese and Malay families in the 15th century. The neighbourhood is packed with colourful shops, local characters, and quiet charm. The main streets overflow with diners enjoying katong laksa, the signature Peranakan spicy noodle soup. Signs of youthful entrepreneurship are visible as well, with modern cafes, bars, and shops abounding. Visit Joo Chiat to take a break from the big city sights and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a laid-back and local vibe.
