We stayed for one night in order to have two days sightseeing in Singapore after travelling in from Johor Bahru (get the train and then use MRT system, very efficient). For one night it was just right. Room small but clean, had tea making facilities and decent ensuite. Booked room with a window, don't imagine those without would be very...

Found a great deal on Agoda and decided to take a chance with this hotel. For the most part, it didn't disappoint! Our room was small, but clean and modern. The snack bar in the lobby was a really nice touch, and we made use of the Nespresso machine, cookies, and candy in the afternoons. Breakfast included, but with so...

Stayed for 2 nights with wife and 2 children. Hotel is conveniently located to access SMRT ( Outram rd and Chinatown stations). Simple breakfast is available and included in the price ( toast, jam, egg, sausage, cereal) Clean rooms have all what's needed and are of a decent size. All in all recommended to others!

I often stay in this cute street on the edge of Chinatown and close to Outram Park MTR but I've never tried the Keong Saik before. I got a good rate on a deluxe room so spend a night here recently. Pleasant check in although there is a security deposit of $20 to pay which I wasn't expecting. Nice room...

The Keong Saik Hotel is in a great location fairly close to the Outram Park and Chinatown MRT stations. We booked the deluxe room and we were really surprised at just how beautiful it was with really nice wooden floors, high ceilings and shuttered windows. Very charming decoration. Snacks and hot water are available in the rooms, but there is...

Very comfortable room despite no windows. Good pressure for shower, comfortable single mattress. Cool room due to adjustable air conditioning. The best thing was the pleasant and highly efficient staff!

The Keon's Saik Hotel is conveniently located next to the Outram Park MTR station in Chinatown. The staff is most welcoming. The place is clean, quiet and offers a quick breakfast. It did the trick for an overnight stay right in the heart of the action as we love to people watch. Though not inexpensive, it is value for money...

Great little gem! Easy to find, very closed to 2 MRT lines (Green & Purple), great selection of complimentary snacks of Nespresso, cookies, biscuits, etc. Breakfast is decent, not much protein or selection. Toast, beans, coffee/tea, cereals, and bananas. Simple and basic. Rooms are small but basic with necessities. Very compact bathroom, gets wet everyone, best to close shower curtain...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
