we booked the family room for 2 nights which came with a bunk bed and a king bed. the room had a dining table and sofa set, plus a spacious balcony that you can do yoga or your jordanyeoh workouts.
no brand name toiletries, no nespresso, no fully stocked minibar (other than the packs of chips) but plenty of space for the fam. if your priority is space, this would be a good choice for you.
the bathroom is bright, large and well ventilated, water pressure and temperature is perfect. a bidet spray is all that is needed.
while the mattress and pillows aren’t the most comfy, i still got good sleep. the bunk beds fit our tweens just fine. our room was facing the main road but we barely heard traffic noise.
our room was not ready when we checked in at 2pm, so we were asked to come back later. We could only book pool slots at check in time. pool slots were limited, but it was a large pool with plenty of seating. towels were large and warm, and the ice cream treat is a clever way of getting us out of the pool when time is up :) there are also swimming floats to loan.
room cleaning was not the best, we found used sugar packets (not ours) under the sofa. also, not sure why housekeeping threw away our toothbrushes from Day 1. our room did not have robes, while we didn’t need them, we are not sure if this is an inconsistency with housekeeping or if you needed to request for them.
we do appreciate that the hotel does not provide bottled water, i have always found that to be a very wasteful practice. bring your own water bottles.
the staff were friendly, warm and helpful. I put in a note to ask for something to celebrate my son’s birthday, someone came by to pass us a slice of chocolate cake and wished us happy anniversary.
in terms of location, this is at the end of orchard road but is surrounded by lots of dining options and just opposite a bus stop. There is a MUIS halal certified nasi padang store at Orchard Towers, the taste is not Malay style but still sedap. we paid $30 for 3 sets (1 meat 2 vege) + 3 drinks. Starbucks, Coffee Bean and McDonalds just a few steps away.
we paid $580 for 2 nights in the family room, you can use the FEO gift card to get some discount but need to do so at the time of reservation.
all in all, i would say this is a no-frills kind of staycation but we just took the time to chillax. for what we paid, it is good value for money considering the location (Orchard) and time (peak Christmas / school holiday season).

We are frequent guests here for 'staycation' in Singapore, and also recommend the hotel to our visiting family and friends when they stay. The friendly and helpful staff as well as the pool area which is arranged to be enjoyed by family and couples are great positives. Most recently we were assisted by Ms. Jessica Moon at the front desk who was exceptional in accommodating our requests, as well as her associates during check-in. They arranged for the rest of my family to directly visit the pool area while I completed check-in process.
We find the location to be excellent, nearby to coffee shops, a grocery just across the road, and a pizza restaurant Modestos just below which the kids love or the adults to enjoy a drink.
Visiting work colleagues have also given me positive reviews to the hotel for location, service, and convenience.
The rates are quite reasonable, and your expectations for room size, decor, etc. should be adjusted to this. We have found the rooms to be extremely clean and comfortable. If the bathtub/shower fixtures are not as modern, we feel the value compensates for it. If you are able to book or receive an upgraded room, of course it will have more to offer. Some rooms enjoy a view, some do not, for our purposes this has not mattered.

We had an awesome stay at Orchard Rendezvous Hotel! Totally exceeded our expectations for an unassuming hotel, as they won our hearts big with their thoughtfulness, many times throughout the 3D2N stay.
First, upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by staff Mardiana and Nigel, who came forward and surprised my three kids with ice cream as we were waiting for our card keys. Imagine how the kids’ eyes lighted up with just that. We later learnt that they were our staycation hosts. They had kindly upgraded our booking to a Family Suite!
Next, we were pleased with how huge the suite was, complete with surprise kits placed at every corner of the room, from craft to colouring, and snack boxes to keep the children entertained. Personally written cards were placed in the room to welcome us for our stay and give us peace of mind in the sanitisation. The room and bath area was very clean and well maintained and the beds were so comfortable.
As it was my spouse's birthday month, Mardiana and Nigel arranged the birthday buntings and Mardiana personally brought a full, huge yummy chocolate cake to the room, much to our surprise, on the first night!
We simply love the great pool! Uncle Samy was a gem as he was always caring towards my children and offered ice cream and drinks on the both occasions we visited the pool. The pool is clean and well controlled, allowing only max 8 guests at each hour. With the measures in place, we feel safe and well cared for.
On the day of check out (obviously the kids could not bear to leave, and kept chanting that they want to come back to this awesome place), hosts Nigel and Mardiana again surprised us with a personalised picture frame, to help us capture the memories of our stay!
The staff we met at Orchard Hotel Rendezvous were all very friendly and genuine. We will highly recommend this for all families with children, and yes, we will be back!

First and foremost the services provided to the guest in terms of facilities is amazing, it's definitely value for $$. After paying and making my booking I realized some points in regards to the washroom amenities from the website which was pretty confusing, and it got me pretty anxious because I'm extremely particular with the bathrooms. So I emailed and the service/reply I received was great! They even brought up some points I mentioned in the comments from my booking which I was not expecting since usually that would only be answered during check in (From past experience at other hotels). Moving on to the check in, the staff wasnt very warm or welcoming, I dont recall her smiling either. But it's ok I'm not fussy, they knew their work and everything was seamless. The bonus part was that they gave us a free upgrade to a Suite and it was amazing such a pleasant room. Overall enjoyed my stay, it was great and I would definitely return.
Just some food for thought. I would say it was rather surprising that there were minimal checks despite it being the Covid19 period. I am not too particular, I have full confidence of my health haha but some guest may be cautious with the precautions taken by the hotel to ensure that nothing might happen during or because of their stay. I visited another hotel not long before this and every single guest that entered regardless if they are staying there of just going for dinner had their temperatures taken which I think it's a fair precaution since 90% of the places in SG was conducting, however for this hotel, only guest which were checking in required to take their temperature so there are loop holes I feel especially since anyone can walk into the hotel. Just thought I would mention as I think some guest may take it into consideration the precautions taken because it reflects the priority of the safety measures of the hotel as a whole.

Loved the room. Spacious, clean and nice view on a high floor. I also like the location as it is not right in the center of Orchard Road but still near the metro station. Many food options around including convenience stores.
I would like to commend Rizal for his hospitality. He took the time to explain the hotel's safety measures relating to the current situation and gave me a sense of assurance. It was also good to see that temperature taking was in place, sanitizer being issued and social distancing being encouraged particularly in the lifts (limit of 5 people per lift).
Also would like to appreciate the staff at the club lounge. They were very attentive at the same time gave me my space.
Lastly, I certainly appreciate the green efforts of this hotel. Bottled water is not provided in yhe room but a glass bottle with a lid is available to use (pic attached!) . Tap water in Singapore is safe to drink. I hope many other hotels will follow the same example.
Overall, it was a very relaxing stay. Definitely worth it.

Pleasantly located room on the 17 floor overlooking the front of the hotel, giving an uncluttered vista over Tangling Road & beyond. The staff Liya, Daniel, YingZi, Hui Xin, Diana servicing the Club were excellent: always obliging & helpfully. In particular, Pushpa who went out of her way beyond helpful to source plain yoghurt & fruit for breakfasts. The staff also arranged for a birthday cake to celebrate our birthdays here in Singapore. This was very much appreciated. In addition, they were able advise on many places of interest & on good places to eat. Overall they helped to make our visit to Singapore very memorable. Your hotel is very fortunate to have staff of this calibre.

Upon reaching and check-in, we were handled professionally by Ms Raden SofraLeezah and our room was given an upgraded to family suite from a deluxe room. It was so spacious, clean and neatly done with a personalised "Happy Birthday" balloon in individual alphabets placed on the king sized bed. The other 2 single beds were also decorated with balloons and streamers. We were so excited with the decorated room and later in the late afternoon both Ms. Sofra and Kiki came with a Birthday cake send personally to our room and they even sang birthday song. It was the most extravagant experience in Rendezvous...; Really sound like it though.. We are vey touched by the excellence service given by Ms. Sofra, Ms. Kiki and the rest of the staffs. They were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Totally amazing and unforgettable. A wonderful birthday "Rendezvous" experienced from the hotel staffs and management! Kudos to you! We managed to get a family room with bunk bed for the children’s day weekend and were not disappointed.
The room was set up with balloons and gifts for the children (an activity pack and snack pack with cereal/ cookies). We even got ice cream while waiting to get checked in! A special mention to Kiki who worked the front of house (both at check in and checkout) who was so exuberant and pleasant and paid special attention to the children especially when they were sad to leave !
The room was extremely spacious even with a large king sized bed , the bunk beds , sofa seating area and full sized dining table and 4 chairs. The kids still had enough space to run around and play with the balloons. The bedding was comfortable and room was well appointed.
Due to the restrictions in place we had to pre book the swimming pool slots (one hour - not enough for the children but better than nothing!) but this was also good for crowd control because it meant the pool was always relatively empty! Another special mention to the attendant at the pool : Samy, who quietly set up platters of food and snack for us to enjoy throughout the 2 one hour slots we enjoyed. The snacks were nothing fancy , milo biscuits , packet drinks , ice cream but it was the delivery and thoughtfulness that made it so much better. This was a nice touch!
The exterior of the hotel may seem dated and seen it’s better days, but the pool itself and the interior of the rooms were well maintained and renovated.
Location wise it’s very convenient with malls around and within walking distance of both tanglin and orchard areas but still in the “quiet” belt.
As always the service made all the difference. Other than the 2 memorable staffers we met, even the housekeeping speed was impeccable. I called to request for a replacement hairdryer as the one was faulty and a new one was at the door in less than 5 minutes, which was pretty speedy for a full sized hotel.
Overall a great experience and it’s always good when the kids want to come back next week !

It was a very pleasant stay with Orchard Rendezvous Hotel to celebrate our Anniversary. We were surprised when we enter the room with hand cut hearts shapes and towel swan on the bed waiting for us with the additional room card inserted so the room was well air-conditioned when we entered and the breakfast served was nice as well it was very cozy and the hotel staff who served the food was all smiles and patient with us. Drinks, food, chili, drinks, food and fruits. So sweet of them we want to complement Sofia and HuiXin for the above for room surprise and breakfast.
Also would like to thank the hotel staff at the swimming pool 10 Nov abt 5pm. Thanks for offering us ice cream and yogurts when we had our swim. Even the 5 stars hotel don't have such good service as compared to Orchard Rendezvous Hotel.
I must say it is a good location 5 mins away from ION and their service is really good. Not only that the place is very clean and the facilities are new such as gym etc. Room shower they are using grohe never expected it ^^.
It is a good stay for relaxation for couples and families. Thumb up! Thank you for such good hospitality.

It was best hotel with excellent quality services from each an ever one who ever i have cm thru this 3 months stay .They even recognize us on Labour's day ,Mother's day and as Frontliner too with token of love. It was awesome stay. I am very thankful for everthing provided by the hotel and the reception staff of course Singapore government to help at this difficult situation. The hotel stay was very pleasant and comfortable. I stay here 3months all the staff was very polite friendly and helpfull, the location was very convenient with numerous food court and supermarkets withen walking distance. I would like to specially thank your room service staff Mr.Vicky he is very friendly. He also perform his duty well and also with passionly manner. Every time upon his duty time he clean my room (739) and ensure that the bed is nicely done before he exit from room even my room carpet flooring will always been vacuumed clean by him furthermore our toilet also in well cleaned up by him where it always leave very pleasant environment when using it. Thank him for kind attitude and professional code of work ethics👍 and not forgotten hotel greeters Mr.Samy, Mr.Arun,Mr.Mohan sincere thanks to who made me feel so welcome everytime when I'm back to hotel from my tiring shift with SMILE FACE🙂 n greeting. Hi! There’s a very good foodcourt located at Basement 4 within Orchard ION shopping mall. The foodcourt known as ‘ Food Opera’ offers a wide variety of local delicacies at reasonable prices. Most important of all, the food taste great! My favorite stalls include Hainanese chicken rice, fried prawn noodles, Kam’s roast, Pepper Lunch and laksa. You may wish to check it out and sample some of the local delights.
Within the different levels of Orchard ION shopping mall are lots of good restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisines. My personal favourites are Hoshino Coffe which serves hot and cold dishes (basement 3) and Jumbo Seafood at level 4 (their chilli crab dish is a must try!).

If your booking is made for single occupancy, you will be entitled for 1 breakfast only. Should you wish to add 1 extra breakfast, you may do so by adding an extra $25nett at the reception upon your arrival.

Hi, no the pool itself was not under repair and didn’t look as though it was going to be either. They are refurbing some of the rooms which look onto the pool so there were people working there etc with equipment. We swam ok but there wasn’t many loungers etc when we were there, the management did reply to us to say they were going to sort that so probably worth contacting them if you want to chill round the pool too.
There are more places to choose from in the Singapore area.
