An overnight stay in Singapore. Arriving at hotel at 2am and leaving again at 9am to go to a meeting in financial area and then leaving Singapore, I dint want to pay $400+ for a hotel. The Inn did the job. Good location (in Chinatown, not far from financial area) and adequate room and facilities.

If anyone looks back on all my hotel reviews over the last ten years you probably would say "oh she likes everything and everywhere they have stayed" and the answer to that is an unequivocal YES. I say that because I do my homework. I read dozens of different reviews from different sites before I give my credit card number...

I asked for a room with a window and was assigned 217, the largest single in the hotel. I was nicely surprised by the good size of the room and large bathroom, all very clean with the air-con already cool when I arrived. Other great things were the strong WiFi signal, strong shower, great air-conditioning (easy to operate). Also, there...

My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights. Our luggage got lost at the airport and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean enough (except for the shower screen), but it was very small. The toilet was positioned awkwardly in our bathroom, your knees would hit the showerscreen if you sat on it normally! Located in...

Room was very small, but the location was awesome. Just a few steps away from the metro, all kinds of Chinese restaurants at your door step. Maxwell food court, at the end of Temple street, and a big temple also right at end of Temple street, street hawkers close by. No elevators, difficult to get luggage on upper floors

Great location in Chinatown, walking distance to many atractions, but exactly because of the location, impossible to sleep without earplugs, and the walls were paper thin so you could hear everything...

The hotel is near to Chinatown. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. You can easily reach the hotel by metro. Check in was quick and the receptionists are friendly. It is a quite hotel although it is very close to the busy streets of Chinatown. They tried to help and answer all our questions. The wifi and air condition...

What a wonderful little establishment this was! Very nice room even though it was on the small side. It was extremely comfortable however. At a fantastic price considering how expensive Singapore is. If you like staying in Chinatown then this is the place for you. Immaculately clean and the housekeeping was second to none. The staff always made up our...

This property is located at Chinatown, a stone throw away from MRT, restaurants, shops and other amenities. Upon check-in for two nights, we were met with a not-so-friendly foreigner (Indian origin man) receptionist. We made reservation from booking.com. This Indian receptionist gave us a hard time and delayed our check in after a tired travel. He claimed the credit card...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
