Located in the Arab Street and Kampong Glam enclave, and a mere stone’s throw away from Bugis Village and Little India, Village Hotel Bugis is at the crossroads of Singapore’s Arab, Peranakan and Indian enclaves. These multicultural and multinational influences are seen in the Indian, Chinese and international cuisines at the hotel’s three dining options.Guests can explore the side streets of Kampong Glam, Bugis Village and Haji Lane, which have small boutique outlets stocked with fashion labels otherwise not found in the Singapore malls. They can also indulge in a shopping spree at the Bugis Junction and Bugis+ shopping centres. The Bugis MRT station, which is just a 5-minute walk away, connects guests to the Orchard shopping belt or the Central Business Districts of City Hall or Raffles City.Besides its location, Village Hotel Bugis' key selling point is its spacious rooms, which start from 32sqm for its entry level Superior Room to up to a generous 64sqm for its Executive Club Suite.

The Village Hotel Bugis by Far East Hospitality garners appreciation for its strategic location and spacious rooms, with guests often highlighting the convenience to MRT stations and cultural hotspots. While the service is generally commended for its warmth, some guests have encountered inconsistencies. The hotel's ambiance and amenities, despite being perceived as dated by some visitors, offer a comfortable stay with a diverse breakfast selection. However, opinions on value are mixed, with mentions of both reasonable rates and occasional unexpected charges. Cleanliness is satisfactory for many, though a few have noted areas for improvement.

In June 2019, my wife and I spent a three night stopover at the Village Hotel Bugis on our way from Brisbane to London. If we have a just a one night stopover in Singapore we stay at the Village Hotel Changi, but for a slightly longer stop we wanted a more centrally located hotel. I don't think you can fault the location with Bugis MRT station about 5 minutes walk along Victoria Street and Bugis Junction shopping mall only a couple of minutes further. When we checked in at the hotel, there was a slight problem with our room. We told Guest Service Executive Daniel Tuang about the problem and he was immediately and profusely apologetic and changed our room for a superior room. Throughout the rest of our stay Daniel and fellow Guest Service Executive Kevan Lim could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant one.
I cannot comment on the quality of the restaurant in the hotel because we never tried it. We decided we preferred to experience the local cuisine and there is no shortage of opportunities in Victoria Street and in the multitude of food outlets in Bugis Junction and across the road in the street market. If you arrive hot and tired late in the day there is even a Domino's pizza directly across the road from the hotel entrance.
We will certainly visit this hotel again if we have a stopover of more than one night.

We book for 1 nite (16-17Aug), upon checking in we requested for triple bed with smoking room, during check in Mr Rizal mentioned that triple bed wf smoking room is not available. Was quite sad but in a quick response he was helping us to get a twin bed with additional bed and a smoking room. We went to our room and in a few mins Mr Rizal came to our room to send us a hand sanitizer spray with a sleeping bag......wow a personalized service thumbs up to Mr Rizal for the friendly, warm and genuine service towards me and my friends 😊😊 room was awesome with a million dollar view. However bad bfast experience at so called well known "Landmark" #badlandmark #poorservice.

I recently visited this hotel and must say the reception staff were both helpful and friendly. The location is great with easy access to the MRT a few minutes walk away with many restaurants close bye. Our room was clear and I noticed vacant rooms were being deep cleaned as a result of the current virus. Well stay at Hotel again.

We booked 2 rooms for a family of 5 for 2-nites stay and this is our 2nd time stay here. Check in was quick.
O.ur rooms were attended by housekeeper, Faris. He was polite and asked permission if he can replace our bath towels. He ensured that we have enuf supplies of toiletries and asked if we need him to make our bed and even asked if there is anything else that we need before he left for the next room. This 'little' gestures shows Faris being dedicated in his work and sincere personality.
Thank you Faris and thanks to Village Hotel and its staff!

check in at the counter: the staff helpful and happy

The deluxe room: through their website looks nice and neat. Real life: the wallpaper peeling, their sharp tv small, they don’t provide mineral water (put a sign to tell u to drink from tap. Their shower head very dirty when u wash with very warm water u can smell rubber. I am a light sleeper, woke up around 5plus in the morning by the prayers.

Breakfast varieties not much, you need to queue up at each station. There is 3 station (1st the salad and hot food, 2nd the bread and fruits 3rd the drinks)
Don’t expect to eat omelette, they served hard boiled eggs. Outdoor seating got birds and tiny flies.

There is no direct lift from carpark to hotel.
The housekeeping part: I paid for extra bed for 2 rooms they took 4hrs and 6hrs (how much more I won’t know cause after the 6hrs I left the room) individually for the rollaway bed.

There is scratches on the vinyl floor. There is door seal should be good but they didn’t clean up the dust.

If you stay old Pasir Ris downtown east before the toilet is similar design.

They provide toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, body lotion, face towel, bath towel, hangers, bathroom sandal, iron and iron board, coffee and tea.

The room was spacious and clean, and was comfortable.
We had a room on the 14th floor, but there were 4 elevators so we didn't feel much waiting time.
The restaurant was also delicious and clean.
The location is right next to Bugis Station, there is a money exchange on the first floor and it is easy to go shopping, but the area around the hotel is very quiet.
I also want to use the next one.

Free parking for in-house guests. Parking is either at b1 or take car lift to level 4. Lobby is at level 3. Swimming pool and breakfast area is at level 5. We stayed 11st time so far, and 3rd time this year. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is so-so.

Our package includes free breakfast for 2, late check out at 6pm on sunday, and $60 dining credit (family room), $30 dining credit (deluxe room). The voucher can be used at Blanco prawn noodle house, just opposite park royal beach road and pan pacific serviced suites, and also the cat cafe. Not worth to use at the hotel restaurant, as you can only use it for buffet, which is about $47 for dinner buffet per person. you cant stack the voucher with other coupons you purchased online from other sites such as FAVE to stack with your coupon. The voucher now can also be used at zam zam. The famous zam zam is just 1min walk away from the hotel lobby.

King bed is one of the biggest in Singapore 4*/5* hotel. This is combined by 2 large queen bed. Sometimes the aircon is very noisy for certain rooms. For some of the rooms that we have stayed before, the air con cannot be off, despite we have turned off the aircon, the room would still be super cold, around 20 degree, especially at night time.

Deluxe room have the comfortable sofa chair, we loved it alot. Deluxe room have no bathtub. Only family room and superior room (the lowest tier) have bathtub. For club room, they do not have bathtub too. All superior, deluxe, family, club room are 32m2 in size. With family room having 1 double + 1 single or 3 single beds. For club suite room, it is located at level 19 (the highest floor), the room size is 64m2, with a separate living room. The club lounge is located at level 18.

We went for a family trip for 5days, although we arrived early they were very helpful to organise a room very quickly for us as we had arrived from a long flight and my wife was pregant.
Room were very good with beautiful view and with all the amenities and good space as compared for other hotel rooms.
Beds are super cosy and you dnt wish to get out from it, breakfast was very elegant with wide buffet spead and variety of food from Indian continental and English breakfast.
Food was very tasty and the restaurant staff was very polite and attentive to details in fulfilling guest needs.

Last but not the least housekeeping was spot on with cleaning rooms and entertaining request.

Definately 10/ 10 Well done to the Team.

I came together with my family and got very friendly service. The hotel's location which is in the same building as Golden Landmark makes it easy for us to find it from the Bugis MRT station. The strategic location because it is located in an Arab village made it easy for us to find halal food with a good price.

Big bed, big room 32m2. Superior with bathtub but not renovated room. Deluxe and family no bathtub. Deluxe is more renovated room. Theme room comes with bathtub too. Suite is located at the upper floor, level 19,20. Comes with a living room.

Location is good. 5 Min walk to bugis and bugis MRT. There is a 711 and domino pizza shop just opposite the hotel. There is a zam zam 24 hours 1 min walk from the hotel. If you buy the hotel package, there is $30 dining credit, you can use them at zam zam, try their prata, murtabek, masala chicken fish mutton beef.

The hotel provides free parking for in-house guest. Else is $2.07 per hour. Charges not high. The parking is at level b1 and level 4. The hotel check in timing is 2pm. The newer deluxe room have a washing basin at the room, outside the bathroom. The newly renovated deluxe room also have a big fridge, where you can put your ice cream. The fridge has 2 levels, much bigger than the ordinary deluxe room.

Breakfast is at level 5 . The hotel serves fried food , indian food, malay nasi lemak, and bakery, salad, fruits, yoghurts. However, the fried chicken is super cold. The staff take the cooked fried chicken from the fridge, and then put it on top of the stewer to make it hot. The swimming pool is also located at level 5.
