We've just checked out of the Shangri La after a 3 night stop over on the way to Auckland. We stayed in a Garden Wing Superior King with a view over the pool (room 880) and it was everything we wanted and needed for the...More
This is a good hotel. It's not 5 star. I have stayed at several Shangri La hotels. They always class themselves as 5 star but the truth is that apart from a fancy reception they are really 4 star. The rooms are a let down...More

Shopping is a national pastime for Singaporeans, and after a visit to Orchard Road it’s easy to see why. This seemingly endless boulevard boasts a dizzying selection of shopping centres. From bargain basement foragers to designer label big-spenders, there is something for everyone. Do you really need a balcony ,remember it’s very humid and likely to be rainy at some time too.enjoy it’s a great hotel in a great city
