Beautiful historical building and an interesting experience staying there. If you just go for drinks then the cocktails are second to none. Love the whole experience including the shopping and the high tea. Spent a lot of time here.

The Raffles hotel made our stay in Singapore just perfect! I love historical hotels so I enjoyed my visit from the first minute. We were greeted by attentive personnel - first of all by picturesque doormen. The welcome drink folowed and check in was fast and efficient. We liked the suite in the first floor from the beginning - entering...

We visited the hotel bar for a few cocktails and enjoyed the experience. The building is beautiful and has retained its colonial charm. The cocktails were gorgeous, the Singapore sling made to perfection and the bag of monkey nuts went perfectly. I found it weird to be throwing shells all over the place but that's why people visit! An easy...

Yes the colonial charm is there (despite the major renovations that were underway). Yes anyone who goes to Singapore must have a Singapore Sling in The Raffles Hotel where the drink was first concocted. Yes eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor because that is what one does at the Raffles Hotel. But yes, you have to...

A lovely old and well restored hotel. I think we were in the Long Bar, along with a large crowd. There were 3 cruise ships in and it seemed that most of the passengers came through while we were there. A bit pricey but we'd come this far so to heck with it. We went through the peanut routine .....

A trip to Raffles for a Singapore Sling is almost mandatory for anyone's visit to Singapore. The Long Room is currently closed for refurb and so the drinks are being served in the Billiard Room. It's a beautiful room and we were seated and served quickly (we were there before midday). The staff are very efficient and I was pleased...

The Raffles Hotel was unquestionably the one place I most wanted to visit in Singapore because I just love the old world colonial charm that the Raffles stands for. It is iconic for good reason, from the three storey neo-classical facade to the doormen in Sikh imperial army livery. From the expansive 103 suites, to the Hall of Fame, the...

Went to Raffle for a drink and a meal. our first drink was obviously a Singapore Sling. The food was fine and the atmosphere was excellent. The meal and drinks were a little expensive but as I looked around the colonial splendour enjoyed the atmosphere I realised what I was actually paying for.

Drinks are currently being served in the Billiard Room. The Long Bar is closed for renovation. The Billiard Room is well worth a visit, try a gin sling and scoff some peanuts as well. Remember to throw your peanut shells on the floor!
