This is an hotel of amazing architecture, with a huge internal space some 20 stories high. The Resident Manager, Duncan Gray, could not be more attentive to his guests. His attitude and that of his staff is entirely centered on ensuring his guests maximize their enjoyment in their stay. Better, when a handbag is left in a taxi, they take...

To start with 1 person checking in 4 people isn't a MO experience. Plopped on the 6th floor and it sounds like a circus outside. Room is ill fitted - waiting on house keeping to bring an extension lead so it's possible to have electricity. Will be going back to the Sofitel or Conrad instead and can only advise everyone...

Booked a suite for our 15th anniversary & service was fantastic, from check-in to the atrium lounge, housekeeping to check-out. Unfortunately, the room is rather disappointing, a far cry from the suite we had for our 10th anniversary in the same hotel. The newly renovated room didnt look as good as a 5-star should be. The TV was bad, the...

The hotel is utilitarian and lacks character. It is situated very conveniently in the centre of the city allowing you to walk to many local attractions. Rooms are comfortable, though the beds are quite hard. Bathrooms have both a bath and shower, plus bidet and twin basins. Breakfast buffet has a good variety, but is not spectacular. Staff are very...

Conveniently located comfortable hotel. A short walk away from Suntec city and esplanade. Rooms have a lot of room and the central arena connects everything well. Buffet dinner and breakfast are reasonable with various cuisine options.

The lobby was spacious, the staff accomodating and the room was nice. The price was reasonable considering that it was located at a premier place, the marina, it is the best value for your money. It is near the best tourist spots in the area.

Nice location, connected with Raffles City at the heart of Singapore city center, very convenient to access via MRT. Nice breakfast, but the room felt little bit old. However, as five star hotel, they provided bath amenities, like toothbrush, towels, sandals, bathrobe even umbrella. Overall quite nice hotel even though its pricey

I find the Marina Mandarin Singapore Hotel in an excellent location for shopping, eating, MRT and within walking distance of Clarke Quay and Gardens by the Bay. Rooms are quite large and very clean. Breakfast is catered for every taste and religion but because of the selection, just be careful not to eat too much. Staff are very pleasant and...

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
