Check in is very fast. They even prepare the room blocking with an upgrade to Superior Room. It is still small, but all you need is in the room because all space are functionable. The lobby is very small but good functional. When you enter the lift landing, then you start to feel that you really are in the Porcelain...

Hotel has a very nice location in Chinatown, district has a very cool vibe. The room was basically entering right into bed and from bed into bathroom :) Anyways, we enjoyed our stay here, good value for the money.

Located so conveniently beside the MRT. Check in was hassle free. Was a little upset they gave me two single beds considering that i checked in alone. The room was clean and quaint, I love it. It made me feel like I was in Hong Kong, brought my memories back. No complains for a simple staycay.

I was not expecting any large rooms from reading previous reviews, and yes, they are very small. However, while in Singapore, you don't wanna spend too much time in your room anyways. The bathroom was great and true to the overall 'porcelain' theme of the hotel. The location, very close to the chinatown station, but off any major street is...

I booked in for a few months ahead via agoda. However, it's so easy to send them email asking about any enquirers and they would reply within a day. This is already impressive. As I was traveling alone, I booked a single room which I knew that it's gonna be a bit small but they upgraded me to twin room,...

Overall pretty good, affordable price and excellent location, right in the middle of China town, rooms are petty small but if you're planning to stay just 1-2 nights it's good enough, rooms and common areas had to be cleaned more often tho..

Rooms are too small with no windows. Even the lobby is too dark. Not recommended for travelers with children. No enough space to move around and big bags would not even fit inside the room. The location is good, it is very near MRT chinatown. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby.

I stayed here with my wife and baby. The double room was very small, to the point where we could only just fit the travel cot and the suitcases physically in the room (a lot of clambering over things!) Also, our room didn't have a window, so no natural lighting (apart from a small skylight) so it felt even more...

Great location near mrt chinatown with great service and pretty cool wifi. Yes it is small room but I do not care as long as there is clean bed and bath and this hotel done this very well. I think I will stay here again for my next time visit.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
