The location is convenient as it's less than 10 minutes walk form the metro. The check-in was fast and the staff was friendly. There was a store close to the hotel to buy food and drinks and several restaurants close by.

Room is small. Old. Wall paper ripped and torn. Toilet leaked and shower handle broken.
Down on the street there's plenty of noise from the eating house. All night.

Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. By contrast, at the western
end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
