We chose this hotel as it was on the list of reward hotels as part of our membership with Thai airways so it was perfect as we only paid for part of our stay. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on our trip to Singapore, we stayed in the premier club room which was a really nice cute room clean and modern with everything we needed really for our 4 night stay, a fully stocked minibar tea and coffee making facilities, clean towels daily and a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom, this hotel is new 2 years old I think, check in and check out was problem free and in the premier lounge, we were then taken to our room, breakfast was good with a wide selection of beverages with tea and coffee making facilities, they also have a laundry room to do your washing which was handy also they have 2 pools available. As you walk out of the hotel there are some restaurants outside, but should you chose to go into town you can use the MRT which is only a 10 minute walk. (The $20 tourist card saved us loads of money on cabs available at certain ticket offices including changi airport ticket office) This hotel is on Stevens road not far from orchard road, so it’s out of the way of all the noise of the city but not too far should you wish to visit the Center. It’s perfect for a short stay in Singapore or a business trip, the rooms were quiet and the bed was nice not to hard (as is the problem with some hotels in Asia) and the pillows were ok. All in all my stay was pleasant.

It is such a pleasure to write review for this property. I been to Singapore few times and always chose hotels near Marina area due to the view etc. but the Novotel is such a nice clean modern property I cannot recommend enough and glad I booked it early. Its near Orchard area but actually located in middle of a residential nice neighbourhood so totally quiet and no noise etc. Amazing clean hotel and staff are friendly and they got an awesome infinity pool to chill out and relax. I was greeted at the hotel by Glenn at front desk who kindly provided us an upgrade due to 'sheer luck' perhaps. He is such a nice chap who treated us with kind smile and information.
It seems the hotel has made sure that guests have an amazing experience. I was treated so nicely by the lounge area staff representative 'Ash', who always made sure that everything is on point and offered advice reg. our appointments i.e. high tea, views etc. While he is busy, he is also taking time to understand the guest which is such a pleasure. I cannot thank him enough for making our stay in Novotel such as personal experience. Singapore is a great city but the big hotels do not such personal service ....except perhaps in Novotel where this is a norm.

A convenient location, you can walk to Orchard road or hop on the hotel shuttle bus. Good bus routes stop right in front of the hotel and taxis are cheap and readily available.
Compact but well equipped and very comfortable rooms with a nice shower. Very good service and generous evening drinks and snacks at the club lounge.
Two huge pools to choose from and a well equipped gym. A little 7-ELEVEN has just opened on site, which is always useful.

As a platinum member of Accor group, I have spent hundreds of nights on various Accor hotels. My stay in this Novotel on Stevens was one of the worst experience I ever had, which I try to summarized my experience by points as follow:
1. Midnight housekeeping: On 17 Dec 2022 1:00am, I noticed the room door of the next room keep bumping. When I take a look from the corridor, I was surprised that your staff is carry out a housekeeping at room 1024 at 1:00am!!! I have turned on my DND red light which the hotel staff shall aware my room is occupied. However, he/she simply ignore it by going in and out the room, hitting the door hard and disturbing my rest. I can't imagine how this could happen and I called frontdesk to complaint. There's no explanation or apologize in the morning.
2. Enter the room even with Do Not Disturb turned on: I have turn on DND when I first check in the room, then I leave the room for dinner. When I return to the room, I noticed that the hotel sent me a fruit basket which means you're entering the room even with my DND light on. If the hotel would like to prepare the room for Platinum member, I believe other Accor hotels usually prepare the room before the guest arrive, rather than doing this afterwards.

3. Sticky hairdryer: I don't understand how can the hotel offer such a sticky hairdryer to your guest, I can barely hold it and I have to wash my hand immediately after touching it. It's disguising to hold such a sticky hairdryer.

4. Worst chair for work: The chair in room is not prepared for people to sit on, it's not solid and can't provide any support to your back, can't adjust its sitting position. It's one of the worst chair I've ever sit on.
5. Cold fried egg breakfast: The breakfast quality is already so-so, however, its fried egg is even worst that the chef deliberately cool it before offering to guests. It's cold and tasteless.
6. Invoice error: When I check out with the hotel, the invoice was wrong that it missed one night of stay. Lucky that I spotted the problem and alert the staff. However, it took me another 10 mins wait for the entire process.
7. No club lounge access: It's not open for business but there's no alert when I try to book the hotel.
8. No reply from hotel: Even I've written emails to complain about my experience, there is no feedback so far.
Overall it's a very disappointed stay which I shall share with all those readers how disappointing it is.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel on Stephens. Although it’s out of the downtown area, we found ourselves looking forward to going back to its more peaceful location after our long sightseeing days. It was a great oasis in the city.
We were also given special treatment upon arriving with an upgrade to access to the Executive Lounge. That was a really nice surprise. Lily at the checkin desk was professional and welcoming. The staff in the executive lounge were excellent and provided very high touch service. Joshua and Anna greeted us with warmth every day and gave us tips to improve our visit that really did help. And Dahlia - well- she treated us like her own personal guests even packing a small bag of freshly baked cookies and dried fruit snacks for a particularly ambitious sight seeing day.
Also- the room was sparkling clean. Really comfortable bed. And it was quiet.
Our visit was short but we felt right at home at the Novotel on Stevens.

Great staff on check in gave my baby a little teddy bear which was a nice touch. Also on check out wasnt flying until a late evening flight and the staff let us have the room for an additional 4 hours at no cost, which made a huge difference as had a small baby on toe. Thanks again Novotel.

I spent 4 nights between 23rd and 27th Dec.'19 at the hotel along with my family. The hotel is located in a peaceful district but close to Orchard Road. The half hourly shuttle between the hotel and orchard road is a real boon. Commuting is very easy from the hotel. The friendly staff ensure that taxi is available at all times. Bus stop is right next to the hotel and MRT is next door to the drop location of the shuttle in Orchard road.
The hotel itself is new and very well maintained. Service is excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast with its wide spread. Decent vegetarian options too are available. Then there is the ubiquitous 7-eleven store within the premises. For those who love Indian food there is a very good Indian restaurant right next to the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in this friendly and value for money hotel.
The hotel itself is new and very well maintained. Service is excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast with its wide spread. Decent vegetarian options too are available. Then there is the ubiquitous 7-eleven store within the premises. For those who love Indian food there is a very good Indian restaurant right next to the hotel.

This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel.
The front desk staff that did the check-in for my family was very friendly and even gave my daughter a toy which she sent to the room personally. Her service was excellent!
We had requested for a cot for our daughter. After the cot was delivered, we noticed that the cot was a little dirtied. It has lizard poop at one of the corners of the cot.
We also went to the bar to collect our complimentary drink but the staff wasn’t very interested in serving.
On the whole, the hotel was great to stay in as there are very good amenities and restaurants within the hotel grounds.

Stayed at Novotel as part of a travelling contingent or business trip for two nights so I had no real expectations.
Pros:
We were greeted by a female member of staff that suggested places for us to visit and briefed us on the hotel. She was great and deserve a raise or promotion
The location is in close proximity to the airport
The cocktails are superb and mind you, you also receive free cocktail vouchers upon check-in once you are a member of the Novotel brand so make sure and sign up it's free
They have a reliable shuttle that takes you to two locations, either location would allow for easy commute to anywhere you would like to go as traveling around is quite easy in Singapore because the options are endless.
The rooms were clean as housekeeping were on point.
Rooms had everything that you would possibly need.
The hotel from staff to guest seems to be from inclusive from all angles.
The infinity and lap pools were great.
The addition of a laundry area at cost was great

The rooms here are very small, no room to change your mind or position on the bed. So if you are sharing a room with someone keep that in mind.
The breakfast was mediocre, nothing that you won't mind missing

This hotel, like many in Singapore, is unfortunately open for tour groups to stay in, which means alot of overcrowding. However, if you have lounge access either through the room booking or Accor Platinum and above, you will be able to check in at the lounge. The lounge as well as the staffs there are probably the biggest plus of my stay. Kudos to Sofia, Glenna, Ash and Glenn for your kind attention and with your dedicated attention, our stay at Novotel on Stevens definitely got elevated.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis (turn the green housekeeping light on), and both times when I stayed on Level 9, the housekeeping crew will always extend their greetings when we walk past them at the corridor. Whilst I can tell its hard work that they are doing, but their lively attitudes really changes the morning. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for their names.
The rooms are modern, everything is clean. Water is from a filtered tap in the bathroom. If you are familiar with the Novotel brand, then you should know about the smart pillow that is available in many hotels, unfortunately for the ones at this Novotel, its the smaller version of it.
Food Exchange for breakfast is TERRIBLE. (Yes with a CAPS).
So with the weekend breakfast, it is published everywhere that breakfast is till 11:00am. So wanting to do a quick breakfast run, we went at 10:30am and saw that the entrance to the restaurant has already been barricaded. There were a few people in a similar situation as me. I questioned the staff then that the published timing was 11.00am and they said that last order is 10:45am and they will close at 11.00am; however what she failed to address or realised was that it was only 10:30am and they have closed the entrance. When inside, there was a lack of care in almost everything. There was inadequate supply of cutleries, when I finally gotten one, it was still wet, probably from a wash. Tables were not cleaned promptly so that other people can use them, instead people start to move unclean dishes to one table in order to use them. Options were sad and truly not a reflection of the diverse food culture in Singapore. The juice machine was out of juice and was pumping out clear water. Unless you get free breakfast with your stay, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND you paying for breakfast there, order something from GrabFood or FoodPanda, in fact something from the 7-11 nearby would probably make you happier.

Hi Yes they do.
No sliding door or hinged. Be that as it may, inside the bathroom, there is a shade (roll up/down) which you may use to cover the view of the bedroom if that is preferred for privacy purposes.
Hello I wasn’t able to spend time by the pool . Just saw it coz the deck is adjacent tit he breakfast area thanks
there is a curtain ( automatic ) inside the room. So it will blocked the sight
