I ended up here courtesy of Singapore Air when they changed my flight time and I arrived in Singapore a night ahead of my planned stay. Many tourist groups, and the breakfast is not that great. It looked like the tourist groups had more food choices. But I really was just here to sleep and have breakfast the next morning....

Stayed here for 10 nights during my stay in Singapore. Front desk: staff are very crude and not at all courteous. This hotel is indeed old... you can certainly feel it in the atmosphere once you enter the lobby. Although the room was clean the service we received was terrible. Front desk staff incredibly rude, unhelpful and uninterested in helping us. 'Family Room' too small and didn't fit all of us, which was my mistake, however when we contacted reception they were rude and again unhelpful and the charge for an extra foldaway bed was ridiculous! Nice sized room, clean and slightly dated. WiFi was slow and frequently disconnected. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Air conditioning was barely cool...acceptable but never really "cold". Nice feel to the bed sheets and large towels. Breakfast with the room was OK..average, nothing special. Bus and MRT station nearby.

I Booked my stay with them via Singapore stopover package.I wished the service staffs could have been much more friendly. Room that was given to us was well maintained. The swimming pool was a bit let down! otherwise nothing much to complain, Will recommend for travelers who transit Singapore staying there overnight.
