Went to G4 Station on my solo intercountry trip. The rooms are clean, has common washroom, and free breakfast every morning. There is a problem with my bed but they investigated and rectified it ASAP. Also, the host is so nice to give me a discount on my late check-out penalty fee. Thank you so much!
Enjoyed our stay here, free breakfast which was a bonus, great location, just off a main metro stop and also in little India. Plenty to see near by. The room was tidy and spacious for a hostel, staff were friendly and showers were warm for a good price. Will stay here again on our next trip to Singapore
The location of G4 is ideal, within walking distance of 3 metro stations and 5 mins from Little India (so worth a visit). Rooms were clean if a little cramped but for the price you can’t complain. Staff were polite but quiet. There wasn’t any facilities for cold drinking water though. Really good hostel and perfect for travellers.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 person room. The hostel is very well located in Little India, just a 2 minute walk from the subway station. The room was quite small and basic, however it was clean and has air con. The reception staff were friendly and helped us with booking taxis and storing our luggage for a bit when we checked out. All in all we found this hostel good value for money and the location meant we could get anywhere we wanted to fairly easily using the Singapore tourist pass on the subway (only €30 for 3 days and you get $10 back when you return the card!).
I stayed at this place during my recent visit in a 8 bedded dormitory. It is located within 2 minutes walk from the Little India MRT and about 5 minutes walk from Rochor MRT. The place is quite close to the City Center and other tourist attractions. The host was quite polite and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. A/C was working round the clock. The bed was ok in terms of comfort but getting up and down from the bed did make quite a lot of cranky sound. The sound could also be heard when you changed sides during sleep. Overall it was a good stay. Even though the breakfast was limited to bread and coffee/tea/juice, it had a huge range of spreads from jam/butter/choco. Overall worth the price of ~20 SGD.
I only stayed for 2 nights. The staff speak poor English, hard to understand and they have a hard time understanding you. No elevator in the building. No soap, towel or anything in the bathroom, which smelled so bad and was not clean. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend. But it’s “cheap” so you get what you pay for, don’t expect too much :)
No towels no soap in bathroom, No Water(which is very basic), No normal charging point(have to pay extra for plug point), Very basic breakfast with bread and butter no milk no eggs no juice instead of that rasna water for breakfast.
if you love stair, this is a right place for you... :) receptionist not so friendly, the staff ok. room so small, but ok. toilet ok.. nearby to McKenzie exit at little india station. very quiet place.
It is located very close to the Exit A of Little India MRT station, the price is not too high and the most important that this hostel is very clean. The bedroom is tidy, no bed bug. Toilet and bathroom are clean and equipped with water heater. The hostel provides shared washing machine, iron + ironing board, microwave and drinking water heater. So that it is actually a quite good hostel for backpackers. Tips: - Since this hostel doesn't have lift please consider to choose rooms on low level floor. - The room is very small, most likely you have to open your suitcase outside the room. - Breakfast is provided very late and short, starting at 08:00 and finish at 10:00.
This hostel surpassed my expectations. It was very clean and overall very nice. They offer discounts for things to do in Singapore. Breakfast was a little dissapointing, since there was only toast-bread to eat. Location is great, in Little India near the metro station.
