I've stayed there one night with my friend. From the outdoor, it looks like a shop. I like the living room. You can use many facilities on there, like massage chair, It's free. You also can ask the water either hot or cold. The toilet and bathroom was clean, But there was a hole on the wall that made me...

Cheap Charges - Quality service. Cleanliness is very high and it's a budget hotel. Staff is also very kind and you can have free wi-fi facility. But it's little far from town area. Anyway I'm highly recommended this place.

This hostel is quite good for being one of the cheapest places of Singapore. The dorms, common area and toilet/showers are moderately clean. There is a nice massage chair in the common area. A/C in dorms only during the night. No A/C in common areas. The hostel is quite quiet, for a hostel being. Location is good. Close to busstop...

It's not really a hostel, more of a big house that the owner lives in too. The people staying are much older and not the backpacker kind at all. Beware of extra charges when you arrive on top of the charges mentioned on Hostel World. The location is good and the place is at least clean. It is a weird...

Terrible hostel..i have been hostel hoping for weeks now and by far this was the worst! they have mall rooms, dirty linens and untidy toilets and kitchen.. i wouldn't recommend it! Save your money for some decent hostels around. .

Provides only the absolute basics but very good value for money. If you're looking for a hostel which goes big on appearance and with lots going on, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a cheapish place to rest your head while you explore the city this place does the job just fine. Short walk from the metro station as...

Despite all bad reviews my stay in this hostel was not bad at all! Very clean rooms, not too many guest, so nice and quiet. Unfortunatly didn't have kitchen, but since the food is cheap in Singapore it is not a big problem. Yes, the manager lady was a little weird as some other travellers have mentioned here, but in...

this is my 1st time in Singapore, what i need is really a cheap and clean hostel. So, the Empire hostel is quite a choice for me. every small front door, narrow stairs, need to be really careful. Washing room and dinning room are quite small, it's crowd during the rush hours. but the location of this hostel is quite...

Stayed here for just one night. The owner charged me extra 3 dollars because I was staying just one night and told these were her rules. Bed sheets dirty, horrible location, its better to pay more some dollars and stay somewhere else, otherwise you will have to spend some money to pay the subway. You even need to pay a...

During the past five months I've stayed at approximately 45 different hostels and this was by far the worst one. It's rather easy to get to the city from Empire hostel, but other than that the location of the hostel sucks. And it's difficult to find it from the outside as it only has a crappy paper sign reading "EMPI"...
