Customer service crew, Mr. Dann checked us in. We felt so honored as he isn't only attending to our needs but even gave us advices on transport & nearby risky road conditions. We arrived earlier than expected for unforeseen circumstances. 😢 He efficiently found out our needs, strived for excellency. Came all the way to us a few times when we were waiting outside the lobby to ensure we're checked in fast. How thoughtful & enthusiastic he attended to us. 😭 We were touched by his enthusiasm in making sure all guests are attended promptly & thoughtfully.
Stayed here in May 2021 in the midst of Covid. Despite the busy day, the front office staff Shafiq never fail to cheer our day up with his friendly persona and even offered us late check out. His attention to detail is a plus point. Breakfast was delicious though it was done in a takeaway mode. Will be looking forward to our stay here real soon!
Loft room was excellent. Fittings is new and deco is nicely done and optimized the space. The pool and gym is at level 5, pool and gym is small but it was not crowded when I was there. Max 15 min walk to great world city, convenient. But do note that the eatery nearby are pricey. Overall an excellent stay and recommended.
Check in at 3am. Efficient & fast check in process by the front desk staff. Being offer late check out due to my late check in. Thank you for the offer. Room a bit small compare my stay at others hotel. Overall clean and nice room. Breakfast acceptable but it won't be good if more choice available.
The staff was always very kind and supportive! For example, my adapter for my phone charger broke and they borrowed me one for my whole stay. Especially, Aliah was really nice to talk to! The breakfast was also good, and showed some variety every day - I very much enjoyed the possibility to sit outside. It was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you very much!
I went by the bar and nobody acknowledged me. I ordered a drink off then “app” and my “made” drink ended up at the other side of the bar. I have tried multiple time to ring the bar but no answer. Multiple phone attempts but no answer.
Well, where do I begin? The positives: the hotel is really well situated on the river, with some lovely restaurants and bars very nearby. The Alkaff Bridge is a short stroll and you can easily walk to Chinatown. Getting around is easy with Grab which is also well priced. The hotel is quite funky and the lobby has a really welcoming vibe. But that’s really where it ends. The staff on reception are just hopeless. Several of them crowded around only a couple of computers, slowly making their way through the check-in process, despite me having completed it all online. I had to slow the woman my confirmation email several times before she could find my booking. My deal with Expedia included a room upgrade which got a “computer says no” response. I went on to Expedia later and there were definitely rooms of all types available so I think they just couldn’t be bothered or didn’t like the look of me. My deal also entitled me to a welcome drink. They seemed to know nothing about this but eventually gave me a voucher. The room was small, and I mean tiny. But, to be honest, for one night it was functional, I was on my own and it had everything I needed. I probably wouldn’t have wanted to stay there for longer or with another person in the room. The room also looked out on a another hotel or apartment block with swimming pool and you could see right into the bedrooms and presumably the same applied vice versa. I then had lunch at the restaurant. The ambience is nice because you can sit outside by the river. Again, it is all quite funky which I like. However the food was exceptionally bland and when I asked about the welcome drink, I was offered water. I suggested I might like something a little more extravagant. Coffee? Well, no thanks. Eventually I was brought a wine but then they tried to charge me for it! Just to add to the confusion, I could not charge the lunch to my room as I had “booked through a third party” so I had to pay cash. They had my credit card details as showing my card was yet another very time consuming thing that took place at check-in so there was no reason to not to allow me to charge it to the room like everywhere else does. The bar closes extremely early. Others have said 11pm but it was shutting down at 10pm the night I was there. Again, I had to pay cash due to the charging situation. The other thing about the bar/restaurant is that there are staff roaming around and mooching but catching anyone’s attention is almost impossible. It’s almost as if the hotel doesn’t want anyone to spend any money at their establishment. Breakfast was very poor. I had come from Malaysia where the breakfasts were extremely generous and delicious but here they couldn’t even get the coffee machine to work and it was mainly continental buffet with a tiny hot selection. I feel like this is a hotel that could be really great but currently it is mediocre and much of this comes down to the staff and the sloppy attitude.…
8 night stay - never again. Check in terrible - long queues -not enough staff. Mixed up my reservation with someone else with same first name - took ages to unravel. Room was tiny and dirty - sheets unlcean, bathroom similarly. Breakfast is completely uninspiring, managed it twice before going elsewhere for the rest of the stay - certainly not up to 4star Singapore standards. Bar closes on the dot at 11, and drinks were emptied into plastic glasses. Gym is small and not opened 24 hr - which is really inconvenient. In general the service is grumpy and uninspiring. Only good point is the location.
I start my staycation with a perfume workshop. Me and my partner enjoy it a lot. Special shout out to Ana, she was so patient when my partner have so many difficulties choosing her favorite scenes. However, I feel so frustrated with the evening staff service. The room phone is not working at all and this is how the hotel release room for guest??! When I approach the reception I feel like I talking with someone who works in a hawker center instead of a hotel. I request, a towel, wine glasses, and an opener because the whole room there is only one towel for two occupant rooms. Then she wants to pass the wine glasses to me right away instead of sending them to my room, is this the service you guys provide to your hotel guest?! She does not even apologize to the guest when there is a defect in the room. Until one of the staff send the item to my room and I realise they did not even pass the correct information to their colleague. I request 3 items end up with only one item sent to my room. I think the hotel should improve the quality of service to the guest!…
It was a terrible experience in this hotel. It is pricy but not worth at all. It is so call 4 star rating hotel but actually it is not. The room is not that clean as you can found hair on the wash basin and floor, bed is ok. The light is not enough in the room which even not able to have proper make up. Make up room service is very slow as I heard they lack of manpower which make it delays to 5pm still not yet make it. The house keeper even forget to refill your shower gel. Towel…..not to say, feel like they are in limit as well. The funny things are: 1) I was trapped in the bathroom a few Tim’s because of the poor glass door quality. 2) The entrance light was fixed for two times during my stay (6 days), and they even left the light bulb on the floor when I back into the room. Luckily I haven’t stepped on it 3) The night shift manager offered me a late check out, however, seems that their staffs are disconnected and I cannot get back to my room in the morning. 4) I called and asked for a bottle opener and the staff asked me to go to restaurant and get it by yourself. With such an expensive daily room rate but in return with no service at all. I believed there must be many other good options in Singapore!…
