Booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, aged 8 and 4 through their website. Was given a SUPERIOR ROOM. When I arrived to check in, there was a queue of people waiting to check in, in a small lobby, laden with luggages. Was told that the room had 1 queen bed for the 4 people to sleep on. I was shocked - what website allows you to book just a single bed for 4 people?? I'd just assumed that there were separate beds for the kids. Anyhow, paid an extra almost $450 to get adjoining rooms for 3 nights which they called superior rooms and was on the 2nd floor. There is no porter, so had to struggle to get 4 pieces of luggage, with 2 children to the rooms in pouring rain.

The rooms were small, the bathroom tiny with a small handheld shower, not more than 1 person could fit in the bathroom.
2 towels were provided for each room, no hand towels, wash towels or anything else. Towels were frayed and thin, the kind I would use to mop my floors. Floors got soaked when showering.

I'd purchased breakfast for the 3 nights - Was told that I had to make a reservation for it. Was given 2 set options for the breakfast - we ordered 2 of the 2. For every option, everything was placed on a medium sized plate, extremely small portions and totally unappetising. 2 plain and 2 raisin croissants were brought to the table by a wait staff, they were doughy, not crispy and seemed like they were heated repeated times. We didn't eat them. There were 2 variety of juices to choose from, which was 10% juice, 90% water! The only things that we got to eat from was 4, golf ball sized pancakes and 4 cheese toasty sandwiches which was to our satisfaction, everything else was terrible! The assistant manager heard our grievance, but astonishingly said to us that he has the croissants at the cafe all the time and thinks they're very nice. Certainly don't think he's had much experience with a crispy, hot, delicious croissant!

I was so dissatisfied with the rooms and the breakfast, I complained at reception. At first I was told that there were no other rooms available, but eventually was offered an upgrade. I got the impression that the 2 reception staff were under pressure and were genuinely trying to help.
I chose to take and put up with the upgraded room as I just couldn't deal with moving to another hotel with tired and restless kids. The upgraded rooms were only slightly bigger on the 7th floor, nothing else different. Towels were still of the same quality, but at least we could move a little easier without bumping into each other. The rooms were somewhat clean, I'd found a used elastoplast on the floor under the chair in the room and doona cover was stained and frayed.

I'd also requested reception to give me a refund on the breakfast for the following days, which I believe they've refunded as they told me so, but no receipts or anything to prove it.

For me, the redeeming factor was the pool area and the location. Easy access to the beach, the tram, and all facilities on Sentosa.

What was supposed to be a romantic and comfortable stay at a beautiful hotel landed up being a disappointment.
90% of the staff did not seem to enjoy their job. No smiles, no help, no feeling welcome.
Bed was as hard as the floor, air condition sounded like they stuffed a tractor in the wall.

Pool area was nice, but as so many has mentioned before me, it would be nice to have bar/somewhere to buy refreshments.

The bar is already there!! It just hasn’t been used in many many years, so it looks all rusty and shabby.

They started putting away the breakfast 15-30 minutes before it was suppose to end. This happened 3 days in a row.

After hours of research I decided to stay at the beach end of Sentosa as opposed to the harbour end. I am so glad I chose this beachfront location.
The rooms don’t have balconies but when you open your door you can hear their waterfall and gorgeous landscaped pool right on the ocean. At sunset it livens up with music and bars all along the beachfront yet so close to the tranquility of Siloso Beach Resort. Would love to return.

Horrible services . All they are interested is in quantity.. and have a zero quality ..
With such a huge resort .. they should have ample staff atleast to cater to the services . We stayed for 2 nights and 2 evenings at 4.30pm we were told that the staff has gone for dinner and hence we cannot be provided with iron or any other supplies in the room .Also to mention I had to call reception/room service atleast 10 times to get this answer.
After paying such exorbitant room rent , if this is the quality u give .. then it's a shame on the behalf of the management.
In a separate incident.. for all the 3 days we stayed .. we weren't given towels and had to run to the pool to get their pool towels cause they were supposedly out of stock for towels . Even when we checked in .. room did not have any towels .
We were to be given pool /garden/ beach view but all we got was blank wall view ( Room no 630) , and were obviously given a standard reply of rooms not being available 🙄.
Hotel has not bar .. not even a proper restaurant to sit and eat . Will never recommend the hotel to anyone ever . Please don't spoil your holiday

The hotel is stunning, full of nature plants and animals. We had lots of fun listening to hornbills, watching geckos run about and being with the nature. It's good value for money and our room was upgraded for our honeymoon stay.

The info guide said we needed to book time slots for the pool but this was not required, every night we would go down to the pool about 9/10pm and have the whole place to ourselves. We would sit in the lovely hot tub and relax, listening to all of the nature sounds around us. This was such a lovely special time for us, to just be alone with the nature and we were generally undisturbed, sometimes other guests would come down for a swim but the hotel was quite quiet and peaceful at this time.

The pool is beautiful and there is no horrible smelly chlorine, it's natural spring water and a lovely temperature even at night thanks to Singapore's beautiful weather.

The room was large, spacious with great shower. The view was so incredible that we didn't once close the blinds, every morning we woke up to the stunning view of the rainforest and siloso beach in the distance from the large window.

The free shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel, we got the free monorail from vigo city and this was easy to navigate, even with luggage and after a 14 hour flight and MRT from the airport- harbourfront.

Lots of the staff have special needs, which is great to see inclusivity, everybody did their job very well. Everyone was happy to help with anything needed and they were always around to help, ie when we needed some assistance with the safe.

Wifi is excellent
Cleanliness is excellent
Restaurant is excellent
Staff were excellent
View from room 715 is excellent

Best hotel we've stayed in, we were very sad to leave

One small thing is that the hotel prided itself on being eco friendly, with no straws and using spring water etc. This was great, we love being eco friendly, but we found it confusing to find plastic water bottles, toothbrushes and miniature toiletries in the room. These were great to have, but sends a mixed message on an eco resort due to it all being plastic. Maybe they are working on an alternative, but all eco steps are positive and make a difference.

Overall this hotel is 10/10
No pics of hotel on my phone, but pics of local area included

Chose this hotel over other establishments on Sentosa. Intrigued by its eco friendly objectives and the important work it does by employing those with special needs. If you want Five Star - this is not the place; However , what you will receive is a quaint, central hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, practical and comfortable. The pool is one of the best in Asia; quiet, safe and fun for kids. The food is a mixed bag - fresh ingredients, catering for different tastes. Not the range or quality you might hope for but some very well prepared items.

Looking forward to a return

My family of 5 (2A3C) stayed on one of the rooms at level 7 for 5D4N staycation. Indeed the reception area and drop off points were unlike others. as it was school holidays, as expected, a large number of guest were checking in. Queue up and it took about 45mins. Due to SMM, this can't be helped. Some of the staff were indeed special need hence give some 'slack'. Reception staff were nice and courteous. interesting walk to the room. Room was nothing much to shout about but it was decent ie Queen size room, proper amenities etc. the lushness of the vegetation and the sound of nature was something my family loved as its not something you find at other hotels around the island. The beach across the resort was another reason that my kids loved. I was pleasantly surprise that they have daily cleaning of the room. Very accommodating too as they acted to your request if you are in the room and leaving for the outdoors or breakfast slight after they want to clean the room. Breakfast was nothing fantastic but it made sweeter by the staff at hand headed by Mr Anthony and Mr Sasi. They were assisted by team of fantastic staff. Special thanks to Jessica, Wan Xian, Jun Hao, Wilson, David, Farid, Hwee Min and Yong Xiang for being champion service ambassadors. They did what other "normal" staff at other establishment would have failed considering the demands from some of the hotel guest. . Its nice to be with nature and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The only setback for me is that my car was parked under the demands of trees that sips sac that spoilt my 6months' old car paintwork. I guess I have to bring a car cover on my next visit. =) Generally my family enjoyed our experience at SBR and will be looking forward to our next staycation there in June.FYI: I have travelled extensively around the globe, my expectation changes accordingly.

Although the location is fantastic, this “resort” is in need of an overhaul. Upon check in, the receptionists manners were questionable and the check in was very cluttered. As we walked to our room the beautiful layout was unkept and I maintained with rust, dust , weeds and clutter all around. We were never able to find any poolside attendant for food or drinks orders or even a towel along the poolside. We had to get our bath towels.
The room was basic, not much of a view, a creaking bed, and a loud AC unit. And the bathroom was odd how the door doubled as the shower door, which did not keep the water in the shower, as the floor would be flooded after any shower. Even tho they had room slippers, there were no bath robes. When we decided to order room service, there was no menu to be found. Took almost an hour to get a menu delivered and another hour for the food to arrive. Food was good, breakfast was decent. Staff had little to no personality, even more customer service. This “resort” need lots of care and help. It has potential to be amazing with its eco surroundings and as environmentally friendly as they are trying to be , they lost track of being guest friendly.

The rooms ( we rented 3 rooms for the Birthday celebration ) are a little bit small for families. Room interior designs and setups look tired and outdated. The exterior and swimming pools are more attractive especially the swimming pool with a waterfall which attracts all my grandchildren jumping around for hours. They enjoyed it very much. For swimming, we also went to the beach to relax under the sun on the sands and the beach is just so near. Overall, it's really a good staying venue for swimming.

However, do not think of ordering any celebration cakes ( such as Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation........) as the hotel WOULD NOT request their coffeehouse to make for you at all. Remember to bring your own cake for any occasion even the cream on the cakes may be smashed...........................

I was really pleased to see the hotel’s diversity hiring policy when I saw a Down’s syndrome cleaning lady cleaning the ladies toilets along with another cleaning lady. Five minutes later the same lady with Down’s syndrome brought me out my chicken garden salad out in the restaurant that if just ordered. It really put me off my food that someone who’d just been seen cleaning toilets was now serving food. I felt a bit sick and only ate because I was really hungry and was on a schedule. The other cleaning lady was also in the restaurant handling the cutlery and wiping down the water jug. If I get sick I’ll know who to blame.

Yes, a mini fridge is in all three of our 3 rooms. However, there may be differences between rooms. One is for sure that you specify your request upon booking and request for what you need upon checking in at the reception counter.

Did not try food delivery but there are no security barriers yo stop deliveries. Many food outlets nearby like RWS food outlets, macdonald's, Starbucks etc. Short walk or free shuttle bus ride away.

I and my daughter stayed over last summer vacation. We stayed on a floor with pool, but inside hotel is complicated and difficult to understand. Cleaning of the room is not done much. Even though I returned to the room in the evening, there were times when cleaning was not over. So, we only had towel change. It seems that the pool was fun for children. There are two slides. There is also a jacuzzi. It is not crowded at all. The hotel was dirty overall and the service was bad. The young man at reception (Indian?) Was bad feeling worst. I thought that I do not want to stop again, and stayed at a different hotel this year.
