As other reviewers have noted, access to the White beach is a three minute walk through the local neighborhood with a noisy roosters, indigenous housing and shanty market stalls. While I found the surroundings safe during the day, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking through it at night as there are no street lights- making it difficult to locate the...

Our stay at the Strand was amazing. There were not many people staying there because it was low season so it was pretty quiet. The pool is very nice! The room was very nice and spacious and the AC was great. There is a complimentary breakfast every morning for each guest. There are Filipino and Western food options. Both are...

The staff and the guard were very helpful and friendly during our stay and the breakfast was delicious! And the swimming pool was very clean and nice too! This hotel is located at the end of Station 1 (2 minutes walking distance from the White Beach), which was perfect for us, because we wanted to stay away from the crowds...

If this is not your first visit to the island, you should've already learn that Station 2 is way too crowded, station 3 is a bit too far and station 1 is too expensive. Well, that's what I thought before I came across the Strand, the hotel that has a Station 3 price tag, Station 2 convenient and the station...

We stayed at The Strand last Oct 28,2016. I learned about the resort through the tripadvisor and decided to give it a try....The Strand is truly one of the best places to stay when in boracay😊 Aside from the fact that it is located in StAtion 1 for a more relaxed and quiet bora experience, the resort is also a...

The strand offers 2 things : The proximity to the beautiful beachfront and the beauty and serenity of Boracay outside and away from the noisy party life. The Strand is situated in a hidden place but very close to the beachfront, with 5 mins walk. It is at the end of station one, turning right on that corner will lead...

In the month of June, I and a group of friends came to the Strand for our HS graduation trip. The place is very well hidden between the narrow zig zag streets of Boracay, and the surrounding area honestly looks a little scary at night. A useful way to navigate to the Strand is to walk along the beach at...

It was a nice hotel and offered very spacious accomodations. We were about 7 and the rooms were big enough to accomodate us. It was a serene hotel in Boracay, far from the noise of Boracay. Should you wish to enter the party scene, all you had to do is walk a few meters and you are there. The hotel...

The Strand resort in Boracay Philippines is a hidden gem. First time we went to Boracay in 2011 we stayed on station2 smacked at the centre of the beach. We had the greatest time as everything was accessible within just few steps literally. But this time (2016) we opted for somewhere away from the crowd but at the same time...
