If I could give less than a one star I would. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! The boats are junk and in my case actually dangerous( rented a house boat that had a bad propane leak and we were lucky we caught it before any smokers did. There was exposed wiring in the dryer room next... More

A group of 8 adults rented the Tyme 2 Play houseboat for a week starting 8/12/16. From the minute we arrived there were problems with this 93 ft. houseboat. It was incredibly filthy and many things didn't work. Most importantly was the starboard engine quit as soon as we got to our first stop. It never worked again. They had... More

We saw the bad reviews, but booked it anyway because it was the only marina that had houseboats for Raft Up weekend. We figured it couldn't be THAT bad. WRONG. My best advice. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY!!! Sometimes I'm skeptical of listening to bad reviews, as I think maybe the people are just complainers in nature. I don't even... More

Went to grider hill marina for 4 days this weekend. Rented two house boats and a deck boat. Total cost $7100 before gas. Was told by Jamie that we could expect gas to run approximate $450- but that would be on the high side. It ended up being $800. Got to the marina at 2:30 for a 3pm reservations. Boarded... More

Nothing fancy ... but if you are heading for a guys fishing trip. No better price and location. If you are plan on staying for a short weekend, bring snack as the closest location to shop is a bit of a drive but they have a small fridge in the room which makes it easy. Low price ... great value.

I don't think I was ever more shocked than pulling into GH's parking lot the middle of the last week in July, prime vacation time, and finding it empty and deserted. We always had to fight for parking spaces before. The question is - was it the 7 year drawdown to fix the dam that ruined business or the new... More

We have stayed at Grider Hill may times in the past. I am ok with a place not being a 5 star hotel. After-all, it is a fishing cabin, However, this time it seemed to be dirty. There was some sort of gunk all over the sliding glass doors and broken trim. The toilet seat had a bolt missing. The... More

Our 3rd time renting a houseboat from Grider Hill. Many problems from the get go this year. The dock staff is usually very helpful, not this year. Many of the dock workers appeared to be young (early 20s). When we mentioned some things were missing from the boat we were told that they (Grider Hill) did not want to put... More

We had so many problems, starting with the engine not working consistently. We couldn't drive the boat from upstairs and when we were driving the boat there was a siren like sound that went off the whole time. Mechanic said we would just have to deal with it. Hot tub had a leak and drained off the top deck the... More

The condition of the houseboat "Big Momma" is not what is on the video that promotes it! When we arrived we watched the crew replace parts to the controls and it took them 4 hrs to clean it before we could board. I think the worst part is... You are not allowed to flush any paper, this includes toilet paper,... More
