A must try when you're in Bohol. Prepare to climb up the long winding staircase and carry small kids, instead, for safety purposes. The view is amazing and all the hills are fantastic. During summer all hills turn into chocolate brown, hence it's name.

We had the pleasure of going to a day-trip to see the chocolate hills, the forest, the butterfly sanctuary and so on with a very nice driver- Zaldy Dolauta (from Bohol Tours). He was very kind, drove safe, waited for us in each spot, stopped wherever we wanted, and had very good English. Highly recommended.

Best to visit Bohol Chocolate Hills on a cooler day. There are a lot of steps on the walk up to the viewing platform so can be a little difficult with young kids. Best to take time at the top to read the history of the hills and how they were formed. Puts some perspective into the occasion. Worth visiting...

You can see them along the road, or from the park fee! But the best views are from the top. 100 stairs. During peak season they are green but in summer they dry up and have the chocolate colors. Recommended MeuterMedia

for me the chocolate hills are a bit overrated but they are so iconic that they are a must see... I suppose. If you are going to see them then go here and ideally sunset or sunrise or in dry period (april/may) when they are brown

My family & I had the pleasure of travelling by ferry from Cebu City to Tagbilaran. We enjoyed a leisurely & scenic drive. On our way up the winding road , we enjoyed the breath-taking man made forest. When we finally arrived at Chocolate Hills, the scenery was enough to take your breath away. One word to describe it -...

If I'm not mistaken, this is the only hotel around the area. I will have to agree with the other reviewers that this is an average hotel, not well-maintained but otherwise functional For the price and considering the location (you're staying on top of one of the Chocolate Hills), it's decent. The food is also average but authentic Filipino. The...

Slept there for 1 night with my boyfriend and the stay was pretty average. The hotel is not properly mantained because it was a little dirty and rusty, however it does have a great view. We payed 1200 pesos for the night. There is no wifi and only channels in tagalo. The food was ok, and the swimming pool a...

Slept for 2 nights with my girlfriend and it was okay and nothing more... The room was average. It seems like the hotel haven't paint or anything else the last 10 years. That's very sad because the view is unbelievable. Get a room with a view, that's makes up for all the rest. Television with local Pilipino channels and no...

We went straight to the Chocolate Hills when we arrived in Bohol. It was dark when we got there, but it was cool to see the corny lighted "Chocolate Hills" sign on the hillside as we approached. After we got to our room, it was awesome to look out and see that our room was just above the lighted sign!...
