We stayed here for 6 nights and stayed in a sea view bungalow. The resort is is very relaxed. Don't expect international hotel standard, this is very much a home stay style. That is part of its charm. On arrival your directed to their office on the main street where they arrange for you to be transferred on their trikes....

A really one of the best places I have ever visited in term of welcoming and family feel, many thanks to John and bea, always ready to help and thanks to the lovely Naoko, right the place is about 10 min walk from town and 5 min by tricycle free for the guests which mean the place a quite far...

John and Bea run a great place. Modest accommodation but clean, comfortable, friendly and has everything you need. The location was perfect on the beach, just outside of town but close enough you can walk or they will give you a ride. We felt like we were at our own little private area without being far from anywhere. The food...

John is incredible - cant say enough great things about him. Genuinely nice guy who is also 100% committed to customer service. Resort is a bit out of town, about a 15 minute walk, but they have a couple of tricycles that ferry guests back and forth when you need it. Not an issue. Place itself is on its own...

John and Bea go out of their way to make sure every need is addressed, from ideas for exploring the area, best places for Filipino food, and travel between locations. The entire staff is upbeat and helpful, and the resort is comfortable and a great value. The location is beautiful and quiet.

El Nido did not really mesmerize after numerous beach resort trips all over the Philippines -- for a while, they will all look and feel the same specially if you're in Southeast Asia. But this hotel has a nice location if this is your first time in El Nido or even Palawan. To their credit, the management tried their very...

My sisters and I recently spent 2 nights at Caalan Beach Resort and I must say that from the time I made the booking arrangements to the time we checked out, everything we experienced at this resort was great. It felt like home away from home ... John and his wife Bee always made sure we were taken care of....

The experience we had at Caalan Beach Resort was so great. The managers there are fantastic, they assisted us with trips into town, had great and relevant reviews and advice for the local restaurants and bars and made sure we were running on time for the airport. The amenities are pretty basic but everything is clean and well looked after...
