Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Strategically located within the town center, the hotel is near the public market, police station, stores, etc. This budget hotel on the 2nd floor of the building offers simple room accommodation with a small restaurant. The owner, a retired teacher, will even ask if you prefer local red rice to go with your meals.

I had nice stay here. The cleanliness is good. All rooms have their own bathrooms. Hot shower is provided as well. Free WiFi. Budget friendly, Rate starts from 250 per head. There is restaurant as well. It's located near bus and jeepney station. Totally satisfied.

Loved Querencia Hotel because they have pocket-friendly prices for their rooms, they serve real brewed coffee (not the instant 3-in-1 sachets) and the best things is that they have electrical sockets inside the rooms (aside from the common area). I think this is the first lodge we encountered that has their own sockets inside the room. Downside is that the rooms are small and not airconditioned. We have to rely on the open window that faces a firewall to let the air in.

Considering we didnt prebook a hotel, we decided to go for a cheaper budget accommodation and came across Querencia. The price was a little confusing , I thought it was 250php for a room for 2 but its actually 500php for 2 people. Anyway the receptionist was friendly and showed us to our room. It was clean and maintained. There was a hot shower but the shower head isnt the greatest. Wifi reception is only good in the lobby / dining area We had some food which was to be frank, not very good. Overall, I think this is good if you are a backpacker and you are on a budget. Its near everything including the tour guide office and the center.

3 stars compared to other accommodation in Banaue, compared to bigger/more modern cities it only get 2 stars. The rooms are simple and there is a lot of moist in the rooms. The toilets are without seats like the rest of the area. There is hot water around the clock, and we really enjoyed sitting at the common balcony relaxing after a day with trekking. The food is average and cheap. The staff are really sweet, and help you with any needs you may have. Remember there is fixed prices on all transport and guides in Banaue, so don't pay more than what the paper you get from Querencia is telling you. You don't have a view over the riceterracesses, but it doesn't really matter, because many of the other restaurants are located with a view so you can just take some of your meals there.

I really have no idea why this place doesnt have more reviews, it was really good (for budget travellers)! The tourist office recommended the place as it seems to be one of the cheapest hotels around. 500 Pesos/night for a double room with private bathroom and hot shower. There is not a lot of natural light in the rooms and the walls are very thin (you can hear your neighbours), but for the price it is REALLY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY! The ladies in the hotel are very nice, always with a smile and willing to help, very nice people. Also, the food is very good here. You dont need to stay in the hotel to eat at their restaurant. Prices are much lower than everywhere else and the food is much nicer. I would recommend this place 100%!!

It was great experience to stay at Querencia guesthouse. The owner is very kindful and helps you in anything. Also warn you from local guys. Their family is nice and give a great service. The location is in the center, nearly the bus station. Worth the money for sure. The room is nice and clean as well. Recommend!!

This hotel / restaurant / coffee shop is located right at the town's center. Rooms go for PhP 500 per night good for 2 persons, but without breakfast. You don't need to worry though because their silog meals are very affordable, starts at PhP 70+ and brewed coffee for only PhP 20. :D Rooms are very basic, non-a/c and wooden wall divisions, but each has a private t&b with hot&cold shower. They also have outlets for charging your phones and camera inside your room. Outlets are available in the dining area as well. Free use of desktop computer for those staying in, and there's also free WiFi. Staff were accommodating during our stay and they even let us leave our stuff at the reception desk even after we've checked out while waiting for the bus, although I do believe they can still improve on their service in terms of cutting the waiting time for food to be served. The only thing lacking from this hotel is a view of the rice terraces.
