Beautiful location by the rice terraces, in a quite part of town. We stayed just one night but it was beautiful. Joel, the host was very friendly and helped is arranging tours and transport all at a very reasonable price. From the start, he was willing to help even before we arrived, which I liked. It helped plan the next few days and give us a chance to see more of the area. As we were coming from Maligcong, he arranged a transfer for us with stops along the way at the view points. The next day arranged a day tour for us by tricycle to Bangaan, Ducligan and a drop off to Batad to our next accommodation. He even picked us up from Batad the following day and allowed us to shower and use the facilities before our bus back to Manila. The accommodation also does a free pick up drop off to the bus stop which is 5 minutes away. The room itself, we took the one with the private balcony, and it was exactly as described in terms of the view. The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water. The food was good even though the portions were a bit small for the price. I would definitely recommend this hotel while staying in Banaue. Its a very peaceful setting in addition to the fact you will have help to get the most of the area.

Bogah Homestay was the perfect home base for us for several days to explore the rice terraces. The rooms are clean and nice, with a beautiful view out our window and patio. The main patio is huge and a great relaxing place to hang out any time of day or evening. We did day hikes to the Hapau rice terraces and hot springs, and then the Batad Rice Terraces and waterfall. Both were excellent and the guides were top notch and a wealth of information (particularly in Hapau where you must take a trained guide). The Ifugo coffee and banana carrot pancakes were excellent for breakfast, we often went to other places in town for dinner. Denwil and his wife and team were great hosts and really helped us organize transport everywhere, including getting there and back. I didn’t want to do the overnight bus from Manila travelling with 2 kids, so we flew to Cauayan airport where he picked us up in a van and drove us to the homestay. It’s a long winding road but beautiful scenery and he stopped several times to show us sights. Same on the way back we had a break partway through the drive to a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. You can What’s App Denwil directly to make plans and ask questions. This place is peaceful as it’s on the river away from town, but only a short walk to town if you want things. Beautiful plants and greenery around the homestay.

A very good place to stay a couple of days in Banaue. Special pick-up right at the bus station. We made two beautiful, well organized breathtaking car and walking tours with the hotel manager Denville himself. All at all very helpful and professional. The hotel is situated beside of some rice terraces.

Staying in Bogah Home Stay was the best decision we've made. We enjoyed the stay absolutely great. Armel was waiting for us on the bus from Manila to Banue. He had inscriptions with our names in his hands, and with a smile he drove us to the accommodation. Rooms sufficient, food and drinks delicious and always available, cooked with love of fresh ingredients. The hosts were nice and helpful. They arranged whatever we wanted. Our guide Armel took us to a place where we haven't met any tourists. It was full of adventure and the beauty of nature. When you arrive, ask for Armel Charles Ognayon. As a result, we have had the most beautiful times in Banaue.

Me and my boyfriend stayed her for 4 nights in February. It was the most wonderful place to stay, very accommodating, beautiful food and wonderful staff. We were looked after from the moment we arrived in banaue,Jhun picked us up from the bus station at 6:30am, he then talked us through excursions they could offer and we opted for Jhun to be our tour guide and he did not disappoint, he was absolutely fantastic, full of knowledge, funny and friendly I would 100% reccomend going with one of the guys as a guide that works at bogah homestay we felt safe and comfortable and brilliant prices. We stayed in room 5 which was great, perfect size, shower with hot water and a toilet. I will 100% be recommending bogah homestay! Great value for money. Thank you for such a memorable stay :)

Stayed one night on the 3rd floor. The stairs are quite steep for my mother and we don't have a hot shower, I was told that the hot showers are only available on the ground floors. You need to pay extra to get hot water in a small bucket. We are trying to avoid to get guides, they are expensive and we can go to the places by ourselves, I hate this tourism policy, please! Food is expensive considering that there is a lot of vegetable and rice plantation within the area. Our room was big and so it the bed it gets super cold at night, needs thick blankets.

I stayed in Bogah homestay in August 2019. The property is located in a very peaceful area of the town. Nice view from the terrace. Nice food, comfy chairs and tables to chill with beer or coffee. Rooms are very basic and simple but if you don´t expect luxury, then simple bathroom with bed behind a locked door feels good. On the other hand, it is totally affordable and resonates with price. On top, I doubt there are better facilities providing different level of service. Bogah will also help you with your trips around Banaue. I really enjoyed my stay.

After getting a 9 hour overnight coach, we arrived in Banaue where we were greeted by the owner of the hostel who drove us to the homestay. The rooms were basic, but airy and exactly what we needed, with en-suite and beautiful views, you couldn’t really complain. The homestay organised both our day trips which were definitely worth it and all the walking! The food was lovely! (Would definitely recommend the chicken curry). The owners and their family were extremely accommodating and very friendly. Especially their children, who were so sweet. But my highlight was their adorable dog Bingo who I fell in love with and was very sad to leave. After getting to know the children, we went and visited their school sitting in on Kate’s class. It was a lovely opportunity to meet the children and see the workings of a school! Overall a very enjoyable, chilled out experience. Thank you so much to the lovely family for making us feel so welcome.

Thank you so much Denwill and family for making us feel so at home! Me and my boyfriend stayed at Bogah homestay for two nights it’s clean and comfortable. Rooms are spotless, comfortable bed, had no problems with hot water etc, very spacious compared to previous hotel in Manila! Meals are cheap and tasty (Adovo chicken is a MUST) WiFi was fine when downstairs. Perfect quiet place to rest after a busy day trekking. Transfer too and from the bus station was great. Room was ready on arrival too 7am which was so nice as we were able to rest a little before trekking. Went out on a day trip with Denwill, we decided to drive as had walked a lot the day before. We didn’t pay for him to be a guild but he still gave us loads of info along the way was such a good day out. Denwill is friendly and very knowledgable about Banaue and surrounding areas, and helps you find the right trek for you. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We really had an amazing stay at this place. My friend and I were in the Philippines for 3 weeks, and our trip started in Banaue. We stayed at Bogah Home Stay for 3 nights, and it was a heartbreak to leave!! Joel, Denwill and their family were so welcoming and nice, very helpful for everything. We arrived quite late on the first night and they still managed to make sure we had something to eat! The view from the common terrace is amazing, really breathtaking. Before we booked, we obviously checked the reviews, and the only negative ones were from people that really did not understand the purpose of this place; no there is no TV, but guys if you are going to this place, it is to enjoy nature, the view, do activities all day long and meet great people. If you want a spa, top notch wifi and a TV, don't go to Banaue, stay home. Denwill helped us make the best of our stay there; he gave us a summary of all possible activities in the area, and found us a guide to come with us. The first day, we chose to visit the rice fields and the closer area, and the second day we went to Batad, both were amazing, but Batad is harder physically as it is basically a hike where you go down for about 5.5 km and then up again to come back, and it is a bit steep at some places. Denwill made sure we were aware of the fact that it was harder before sending us there, which was very professional from him. Our guide was Alvin and he was awesome, I would highly recommend him. The food was nice, they had quite many options, all cooked by their families! Simple but comfy rooms, hot water always available. I had tears in my eyes when time came to leave. Thank you all for this amazing stay!
