This is an OK place to base yourself while in Yogya. Since its situated in an alley from Prawirotan, it's really quiet and relaxed. There's a big garden to chill out in, free coffee and tea throughout the day and a nice book exchange. We found the rooms and especially the bathroom not to be super clean though, and it...

The only home stay that I got to stay with a bathtub was in Sagada, Philippines. So when I saw our room and the toilet, I just got this big grin on my face. The room looks so cozy with it's big mosquito net covering the bed plus the bathroom that has a transparent roof! We booked for 3 nights...

Stayed here for two nights. The place is so homey (it's a homestay after all). With a reasonable price we get a comfy clean room and bathroom, nice breakfast, a helpful mbak emy (the homestay assistant), and friendly owner with their two kids. Excellent choice for me since I brought my 1 yo son because the place is baby friendly,...

De Pendopo is in an excellent location: in a quiet alley near a street with many restaurant, shops etc. We liked our room and bathroom a lot. The room is rather small, but it seems bigger because of a large mirror. There is a mosquito net. The bathroom is very pretty. It contains a bath and toilet. There is not...

Great location, best area of Yogy in our opinion as its near lots of restaurants (local and western cuisine, and even the western cuisine is cheap which is unusual), cafes, bars, tour operators and massage places. Nice and quiet as its in a little alleyway. Clean and spacious room. Nice bathroom. Courtyard/grass area with tables and chairs and umbrellas to...

I was really pleased with this little gem. It's located right next to the street where tourists are so you're within easy reach for bars&restaurants which was great. The family are very friendly and the kids aren't that noisy. Room was well furnished had everything you needed (mosquito net and plug in repellant). If you keep your bathroom door shut...

This place is very nice. Good location, near very good restaurants, ATMs and petrol stations. The room is clean, with nice interior. The bathroom is clean and nicely designed, although the sink is outside the room, which is a bit strange for me. I read other reviews and the owner did keep his words. There's a lovely mosquito net in...

Located in a good area near to bars and restaurants. This is a friendly quiet homestay with a nice friendly couple and their two children ( the cutest little two year old daughter). There is a nice simple breakfast and the rooms are clean and safe. I enjoyed my time here and have no hesitation in recommending.
