I stayed 2 nights here. Very good 1st impression. Staff so friendly and helping. The green ambience were my top reason. They have really beautiful garden, well maintained swimming pool, good breakfast...n yet they served tea break too..n its free. Room was ok..very clean bathroom. But the family room was a bit small in size. Wifi connection quite weak.

What we liked: + breakfast area surrounded by beautiful garden + central location + friendly staff + hidden rooftop garden What we didn't like: - small portions for breakfast (western dishes) - bathrooms in need for an update - ragged greyish towels - unstable water supply

We have previously stayed at this hotel a number of times over a 20 year period. Not again. There are mosques on either side and they are very noisy when calling to prayer. Rooms are good for this price range, restaurant is very nice and open, pool is adequate and breakfast nice. Close to Malioboro for shopping. Lovely Japanese gardens.

I stayed at the Peti Mas for 4 nights in November. I had a deluxe room which was clean and comfortable. There was no fridge which would have been nice. The TV didn't have any English speaking channels. The internet was only available in the restaurant area and was quite weak and slow, however it was adequate for sending and... More

Clean, quiet, central location, good service, nice people, charming garden and pool... The basic rooms are cheap but no private bathroom and a little small. Superior rooms are bigger and seemed really nice. Sound isolation not very good neither but the place is quiet (not directly on the street). Otherwise: perfect.

wa had firstly booked a standard room which was dark, small, old, and noisy. Gloomy! beside, they had forgotten the extra bed.... When we required it, they said there was an extra charge (eventhough they had specified at booking time this would be free), and it is not an extra bed but a matress, and they confirmed it could fit... We stayed 3 nights. Welcome is friendly. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms are out dated the tabs could use a replacement so do the sheets. They are clean but there are some stings that dont come off. The bathroom is outdated but its ok. The breakfast is good, you can choose indonesian and some western breakfasts. In the afternoon... Checking was a bit problematical. I had no idea that "after 10" meant closer to 2pm. I was invited to look at the room first - a new one to me. Still, the room was quite adequate for my needs; clean, chilled and functional. I was struck by the peace and quiet of the place and the courtyard where the... More

The Deluxe Pool- view rooms have just been renovated with a "Minimalist Concept" . Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Love the lush greenery of their garden with a nice swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful .The choice of breakfast was rather limited and the savouries served during teatime changes everyday.Free wifi was... More

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, tv snowy with only local channels but didn't worry us. Liked being with Indonesian guests with the occasional Dutch. Staff friendly and helpful especially the restaurant staff. If you missed the afternoon snack time within minutes of you returning to your room there they were with a tray with snack and cup of tea and... More

“- The rooms are small and basic but clean and air conditioned. The ground floor rooms are nicer/preferable and look into a central courtyard. - The hotel has a few rooms with three beds (and we were three of us!) so it worked out great. We got it for almost the same price as a double occupancy room. You have to remember to ask for a discount!”
