I really enjoyed my stay at Six Degrees. It has everything to offer that makes a hostel a nice place. Comfortable beds wirh curtains, a nice area to hang out and meet people, a big kitchen area, free water and coffee and tasty food. Moreover there is a rooftop bar with daily happy hour from 6-8pm. If you love cats...

Wow, this is one of the best hostels I've stayed in! (And that's a lot). Such a nice atmosphere and cool spacey facilities! Rooftop bar - with happy hour and nice music, cinema room, clean capsule rooms with comfy beds. I really enjoyed it and the staff & owners are really friendly. If I ever would go back to jakarta...

Many thanks for taking ther time to leave a review. We're pleased you had such a great time at Six Degrees. I can think of many adjectives (positive and negative) to describe Jakarta, but I'm not sure 'boring' would be one of them! It's the sort of place where, if you're only here for a couple of days, you have...

The owners of six degrees have noticeably put a lot of thought into this place. The hostel is clean and the staff are super friendly and sociable locals, full of great recommendations. The dorms allow for a lot of privacy as all the beds have curtains, whereas the common areas are perfect for socialising, with pool/table tennis/a mini-cinema. The rooftop...

Great for meeting people in roof top bar. Location is close to train station and the airport bus station. Lots of street food vendors on the road outside. It's clean, staff are friendly and the wifi is good.

I had a wonderful time over there! The owners and workers are a bunch of lovely people that like to chat about everything and anything with you, making you feel very comfortable. They can give you valuable advises on where to go during your trip (thanks for the tips for Jogja, it was also another "place to be") Rooftop is...

Many thanks for the lovely review. It was a pleasure hosting you at Six Degrees! It's a shame you didn't like Jakarta, but i suppose it is a kind of 'love it/hate it' place which divides opinions. The longer people stay, the more they get to know the city, its people, its food, its charm. It's a chaotic, often confusing...

I was a little skeptical this time around as it was the first time that I was travelling alone. But once you get inside this hostel, every ounce of doubt just vanishes into thin air. You are left with a lingering feeling of homeliness combined with the sense that something cool is about to happen. The owners Ian and Ning...

We absolutely loved this hostel, we stayed for 2 nights, once in a 12 bed dorm and once in an 8 bed dorm. Both the rooms were spotless and ever so cosy. All the beds have curtains and reading lights which I loved. There is a big screen downstairs that has hundreds of movies and TV series on so if...

Thanks so much for the wonderful review of Six Degrees, we always appreciate getting feedback - especially when it's so positive! We deliberately don't have large signs on the street; it's partly a security thing, but also because we really want to mostly host backpackers, and the vast majority of budget travellers book online. Once people book via our website...

I was here during my travel back to Java after living in Bali for 3 years. I miss being in Java, I booked 6degree via internet and I always love to stay in hostels when I travel so I can hear lots of stories from every travelers' perspectives -and it was a perfect chance being a traveler in your own...

I stayed here for 5 nights. They have a great set of staff members - look for Joseph! Great food, people from all over the world, very clean and spacious beds and toilets. The pool table, video games and movie theatre are cool things Six Degrees has. But the coolest of them all is the must-visit Rooftop Bar. Highly recommend...

Friendly people who help you find your way. Don't let the housecats scare you if you forget to lock your door, they are super friendly also. Go see the rooftop bar, its great fun. Also clean and nice breakfast.

The cats must've liked you! They kind of ignore me most of the time. Maybe I should be more generous with the chin-tickles? We're really pleased you enjoyed your stay at Six Degrees and wish you a safe, happy trip.
